Swine Flu Fearmongering – Federal, state and local government officials keep ratcheting up their swine flu fearmongering by overreacting to this wimpy new flu variant.

In case you belive they aren’t incredibly overreacting to the whole “swine flu pandemic”, consider the facts. Every year in the U.S. 36,000 people die from influenza and so far, only one person has died from swine flu and only one other person has been hospitalized.

In other words, only two people in the entire U.S. got really sick and the toddler that died didn’t receive any medical attention until he already had pnuemonia.

There are only 336 known cases of swine flu in the entire country and the head of the CDC told Congress yesterday that almost every swine flu case diagnosed was mild and required no treatment whatsoever.

Meanwhile, every news channel breathlessly reports on the swine flu “pandemic’ and every elected official repeatedly cries wolf.

The Fort Worth, Texas school district closed their schools for two weeks because a single student out of 80,000 was diagnosed with a mild case of swine flu.

The Columbia, SC school district closed all their schools even though they had zero reported cases within a 75-mile radius.

Politicians clamor for closing the border with Mexico and people are afraid to eat pork products.

Obama wants $1.5 billion to “mobilize” health care professionals. What are they doing, taking them out of cold storage?

It’s fearmongering of the worst sort and the American populace is lapping it all up like mother’s milk.

Get a grip people! The whole swine flu “epidemic” is a hoax! Even if 3,000 people a month start dying from it, swine flu will be no worse than the regular flu.

And that’s the latest on the swine flu fearmongering.
