Demi Lovato Cuts Herself – Disney star Demi Lovato is into cutting, in other words she cuts herself or self mutilates when alone and under stress.
This is the third time that photos of Demi Lovato cutting herself have surfaced online.
The first time was back in September 2008 when Demi was photographed at LAX airport with a strange scar on her left wrist, seen in the first picture above.
Then, she had multiple slices on her arm when photographed at Miley Cyrus’s Sweet 16 party hosted by Disney.
Her rep tried to explain those slices away as marks left by wearing overly tight gummy bracelets, but frankly my dear that explanation doesn’t quite cut it.
Now, new photos showing more cutting marks on 16-year old Demi Lovato’s arms as she was leaving the MTV studios in NYC indicate she has a recurring problem with cutting herself.
“Demi has been really stressed out about her new show, Sonny with a Chance,” a source told reporters. “She’s not getting enough downtime because there is so much work involved, and she’s always being pulled in different directions.”
Unfortunately, the constant pressure that teen stars are under may be causing Demi’s self-mutilating behavior.
“Cutting is how she can let go of the stress that has built up inside — when she cuts herself, it’s a way to cope,” explains Dr. Jennifer Austin Leigh, a San Francisco–based psychologist who specializes in treating teenagers who cut themselves as a way of dealing with anxiety.
And that’s the latest buzz on Demi Lovato cuts herself.

i think demi was a cutter and is recovering from scars. i was a cutter and whoever is there is no need it may seem lik a very gud way 2 get the pain out but its not. demi used 2 get teased alot about her chin i have a double chin 2 and ppl still tease me i say so wat if u have 2 make som1 else feel bad then u must be petty sad and angry……..

we look at her and think that she i pretty but everyone can see that ,that is not a braclet marks and if she is stressed out then she can tell them that she needs a brake!

She’s probably upset from seing look-a-likes posting her naked and such.She’s no lesbo, although alot of ppl wish. Neither is Selena, no one believes those pix. And if u do, ur dumb. But really- thats why she’d cut herself, if she really was. they may just be stretch marks. I didn’t see any when i was watching her show earlier.

These are definetly cuts. I mean the pics that were taken at Mileys sweet 16 were like a year ago and now these pics are in summer. idk i dont really mind. I love Demi and she is super talented!!!

yea, those look like like cuts… but very easily could be photo-shopped. i cut, and they look real too me, but im not sure. some paparazzi these days will go through great lengths to get a good story, so im not sure if i believe it…

I cut myself to relieve stress and to be honest I would not blame Demi at all television and being a star is a hard job people think its all fun and games until you see behind a stars smile Disney channel is of course a kids channel she has to have a habit of smiling a lot
Shes human.
And I know she’ll find another coping skill
Shes not perfect no one is.
And shes an amazing actor and singer
And people hate on her and its bullcrap

People cut because they are either depressed, or under stress. I used to be a cutter, and it was not easy. People would always call me emo, and give me a hard time. Leave her alone about it, shes only human. I also cannot imagine the stress she is under being famous and everything. People need to leave Demi alone. Its her life, not yours.

Guys it’s okay for her to do that. It was her choice. Plus, In my j-14 magazine, i’ve read why people cut themselves. maybe you can figure out how to search this online, i’ve heard the story of randi in my magazibne. Maybe demi was bullied and nobody suspected it. Maybe the girl names randi wwas right, she said when she made the first cut she felt very calm for a long time. Maybe Demi felt that way too. Anyways,back to the point, it was her decision. maybe if we all heard her story, we wouldn’t think it was as bad. Just think how she would feel if she was on this website right now reading everything. She’s a real person just like us that a lot of people like and has a nice life. btw who saide those scars were from cutting??? maybe her dog bit her i have a scar on my wrist from my dog (devil dog -.- lol jk) and i dont cut im against it. for alll you who do cut that is perfecttlyt fine wedrive our own cars,we steer our own lives…noone can control ur life(well maybe ur rents in a way…not sure)maybe she slept with bracelets or something on her wriss like i sleep with a ponytail on my wrist sometimes on accident and i wake up its lie, that when it startts to go away thats what it looks like…

I used to cut myself when stress was getting to me. Maybe she’s putting on the appearance. She needs help to mange her problems. Sometimes I still get this urge to cut myself, but I don’t.

omfg those r nt cuts from a knife i mean im serious my friend cuts and i seen the marks and they looked nothing like tht at all so plzz drop this its stupid o and btw ik my friend cuts bc she didnt in front me i was over her house and her mom and her got into a huge fight and she grabbed a knife and started slicing away i tryed to stop her and it kills me in side to know i didnt get it still haunts me today and it happen like 3 years ago

umm if the cuts werrrr real, dont you think she would HIDE them, or at least try to. I cut a couple times two years ago, and even I tried to hide them. If they seriously were cut marks thenn im pree sure she wouldnt want anyone to find out. DUH.

Who the hell cares? If she cuts herself, oh, well. The real problem here is not that a little girl is depressed and REDIRECTING HER PAIN SOMEWHERE ELSE, it’s that no one here is even smart enough to BE on the internet in the first place. You guys, even the ones who SAY you’ve cut, know shit about it. I don’t care if you, your mom, your dad, your best friend, or your pet pig, Bacon, took a safety pin and drew on yourself, thereby leaving a tiny red mark and saying, “Oh, I cut myself, I’m depressed.” Bullshit, you’re depressed. You’re looking for attention. Demi’s not looking for attention, because she’s LYING about it. No one TALKS about cutting themselves, not even after they’ve recovered.
Not only that, but fourteen year old girls shouldn’t be prowling the internet looking to see if Demi’s cutting herself, they should be watching her crap show and drooling over the Jonas Brothers.
