Idol Reject Alexis Cohen Killed – American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen, whose profanity filled tirade in Season 7 and extreme makeover for Season 8 stunned viewers, was killed by a hit-and-run driver early Saturday morning.
Alexis Cohen, 24, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, was on foot when struck by a car driven by Daniel Bark, 23, while crossing an an intersection in Seaside Heights, NJ at approximately 4:00 a.m.
Bark fled the scene, but was caught Sunday in Asbury Park, NJ, and is being held in the Ocean County Jail on charges of causing Cohen’s death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of the accident.
Cohen’s mother told reporters that Alexis had auditioned for American Idol Season 9 singing a country song and was waiting for a call back.

And that’s the sad news on the hit-and-run death that left American Idol reject Alexis Cohen killed.
