Dwayne Wade divorce news is true - Dwayne Wade is divorcing his wife Siovaughn with actress Gabrielle Union starring in the Dwayne Wade divorce other woman role.
Siohvaughn Wade, aka Siohvaughn Funches after the Dwayne Wade divorce goes through, returned to Chicago shortly after the birth of their second child, Zion, because she “needed help with raising the kids” and has refused to return to Miami ever since.

September 18, 2007. Last week it was Shaq’s marriage, now it looks like his Miami Heat teammate Dwayne Wade’s marriage may be in trouble. MediaTakeOut.com reports that Dwayne Wade and his wife Siohvaughn are “unofficially separated.”
According to one of Siohvaughn’s close friends, the young mother of 2 and her NBA husband have decided to step back and take a break in the marriage. The friend told MediaTakeOut.com, “They’ve been together for a long time and I think Dwayne was starting to feel like he needed some space … They decided that it’s best to give him that space.”
Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches have known each other since attending the same high school. They dated exclusively and lived together during college. They married 5 years ago, while Dwyane was a college senior. They have two children who will stay with Siohvaughn.
Dwayne Wade has a reputation as serious player, both on the court and off, and his divorce closely follows that of Miami Heat star, Shaquille O’Neal.

Gabrielle has been romantically linked with the Yankees Derek Jeter and then in 2006 and again in early 2007 with Wade’s fellow NBA star Jason Kidd. The 2006 reports have Gabrielle Union hooking back up with her highschool sweetheart, basketball star Jason Kidd. According to the report, they met up in 2006 in Atlantic City and reminisced about their high school days.
They dated heavily and then Kidd reportedly dumped her and went on to marry his soon to be ex-wife Joumana Kidd. Gabrielle says about being being dumped:

I feel sorry for both D & Sio. D-Wade is an upright young man with a bright future. He is God fearing and God is blessing him, but what he fails to understand is that the devil is not happy with people like him and the devil will do anything to make people fall out of God’s will; i.e satanic distractions(Gabby Union). It’s disappointing to see anyone get a divorce today, much more a person in the spotlight who’s viewed as a positive figure or role model. A lot of people didn’t see this one coming, because of the perception of Dwyane. We all want to believe one thing when in reality, we don’t know what was going on in his house w/ his wife or w/ his life as an individual. All I have to say is: No one knows what goes on in a house, except for the people who live there.
We all make decisions for ourselves based on what we feel is right at the time depending on our situations and the circumstances surrounding them. This man is no more God than any of us, so why are so many of us expecting him to be perfect.
That said, however I do not agree with anyone leaving their home just for a piece of a**. I may not believe in love or monogamy, but I believe in respect and responsibility. The commitment (in my eyes) is not to his wife, but to his “family.” If all this is just a fling, he should not leave his home for her. But if it is love, then go for it I guess (never been in love, don’t know what that’s like).
However, I was married for almost 9 years, so I like to think that I can speak with a little experience.

First off I wanna say that I am here to defend D. I played college ball w/ D for 3 yrs at MU. There is no way that any of this bs that the media tries to get you to beleive is true. The media does do a damn good job persuading half of you ignorant, close minded, idiots into beleiving whatever they print or publish. This is just another classical example of what happens when you make it to the top. Ppl are gonna do whatever they can to tear you down. No one know genuinely wants to see someone else suceed and live they life in peace. In D’s case I’m sure this wont be the last time that this will happen. It comes w/ the territory of being a young, rich and successful athlete. Its unfortunate that all athletes get stuck w/ the label of being “playaz” or “womanizers”….but its not true in all situations. In the case of D, I can back him up that he wouldn’t leave his wife and ruin his family for some woman who is of Union’s caliber. Everyone does things that they shouldnt do… face it.. thats life. Even if he did do something who gives a Sh*t. Everyone makes mistakes. we’re all human. He’s his own man. He knows whats best for him. He is a respectful man that wouldnt make stupid decisions. Common sense says you dont leave your wife and kids for some jump down that coughs it up faster than lightning strikes. My old college coach Tom Crean used to remind us of this whenever we are in the public eye. “be careful what you do, ppl are always watching” D learned alot from Coach Crean, so did all of us. When you learn from someone who is as bright as coach Crean is you dont take valuable pieces of advice for granted. When you come from a program like MU you learn how to live in the real world as a respectful person. MU guys dont make idiotic mistakes and decisions like D has been accused of. I’ve known D for 8 yrs now and beleive me he is a good family man, husband, father and friend. So to all of you groupies have some respect for yourselves and stop opening ur legs TRYING to get rich or pregnant by an athlete….It really shows no self worth and not much respect is given for such shameful acts. It is odd how everyone wants to put down someone for doing what they want. It is human to make mistakes and who can say this is the time for them to settle down. None of us know what goes on behind close doors and no one is saying what DW’s wife is doing. Knowing what he willk have to pay out is not changing his mind so he must have something going in his favor. Sometimes people just get enough and it doesn’t matter anymore. Lets give DW the benefit of the doubt that he knows what he is doing. He is a God fearing man and will do what is right for him and his family. I go to all the Heat games, and I knew it was Gaby for a long time. You just can see it. She was also at the All Star game yesterday, they are very careful. Kelly Rowland has nothing with D-Wade.
