David Hans Schmidt, the scumbag who tried to blackmail Tom Cruise over his stolen wedding photos, committed suicide because he faced two years in jail. Now there’s a real smart fellow!
Seems the douchebag known as David Hans Schmidt also tried to blackmail Paris Hilton over her personal diaries and nude photos left forgotten in an LA storage locker.
Phoenix police checked on Schmidt, who was under house arrest, because he had not checked in and a GPS tracker placed on him had not moved. No word on what suicide method was used…
Schmidt, a bottom-feeding publicist, claimed he’d represented Dustin Diamond (Screech from Saved by the Bell) in promoting his sex tape.
Other “clients” included Tonya Harding (kneecapped her Olympic opponent Nancy Kerrigan and now a pro boxer living in a rundown trailer), Jennifer Flowers (early Bill Clinton paramour) and Divine Brown (prostitute caught giving head to Hugh Grant).
Schmidt also tried to peddle supposed Jessica Lynch topless photos while the war hero was still recuperating from her injuries.
I think we can all say good riddance to media scumbag David Hans Schmidt.

Yeah, I knew David.. nice enough guy who was successful at exposing the exploits of the REAL sleaze-bags and scum of Hollywood, the media, and politics.
However, two people died in Phoenix on that same Friday afternoon by the same method. David, at his home in a shower stall where it would be almost ‘impossible’ to hang yourself; and the other was the woman who was handcuffed in a holding cell at Sky Harbor (she died just a couple hours after DHS). Both died via instances of ‘unusual asphyxia’.
Strangely, that ‘nice calm’ woman was traveling all alone, freaked out (like a cult member) when stopped, she had no explanation for being in Phoenix, was ‘out to lunch’ for 3 hours during her odd lay-over, and seemed to be the Scientologist’ type… maybe sent out to Phoenix on a ‘hit’.
Has any cop considered the possiblity that she (Carol Gotbaum) was in Phoenix to set-up and kill David Hans Schmidt and then after the job was done, another Scientologist made sure she met the same fate? Her ‘family’ did a lot of blaming and ‘CYA’ -after- the fact.
Don’t be surprised. David had the sense and experience to wait for the outcome of his hearing… who killed DHS?!
BTW, the tape was of Tom Cruise and his male lover… after all, why do you think his wife left him? Gay Tom.
