He Pingping not only has a cool name, little Pingping – seen in the pictures below – is the World’s Smallest Man. He could be a mini-me to the real Mini-Me!

Interestingly, both Pingping and Bao Xishun hail from northern China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a sparsely populated area with great swaths of desert and scrub grasslands.
He Pingping has two older sisters, both of whom grew at normal rates and are now married. At birth, He was small enough to fit into his father He Yun’s palm.
When it became apparent the infant was growing very slowly, doctors diagnosed the cause as the bone deformity, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which hinders the normal growth of bone and restricts body height.
He will never grow any taller and at age 19, will most likely have a very short lifespan. For now though, he’s in the Guiness Book of Records.

He Pingping Dead At Age 21
He Pingping, the world’s shortest man at 29 inches tall, died Saturday at the age of 21.
A native of China, He Pingping was in Rome filming a TV show when he fell ill.
“From the moment I laid on eyes on him I knew he was someone special,” the editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records told the BBC. “He had such a cheeky smile and mischievous personality, you couldn’t help but be charmed by him.”
