iPhone App Makes $1 Million In 9 Days – A new iPhone app called “Plants vs. Zombies” racked up $1 million in sales in just 9 days.
“Plants vs. Zombies” – already a big hit on Macs and PCs – has sold more than 330,000 copies at $2.99 a pop through the the Apple iPhone’s App Store.
The hit new app’s developer, PopCap, calls it a record, although Apple has yet to verify that it is the fastest selling iPhone app in history.
Plants vs Zombies is in the number-one spot on the App Store sales charts in more than 20 countries worldwide.
PopCap also noted that another of its games,Bejeweled 2, has now become the first paid app to reach three million units sold.
