I want to bring up the point of her interview. She seems so calm and unconcerned. There is definalty something wrong here

And of course why, why the hell would anybody, especialy the manager not doubt this? Why not call the police, And also didn’t she think that since the police sation was 5 min. away that they would take her away themselves. Such a matter is serious enough that even if you are beyond stupid, beyond being a dumbass that they would stop to think and realize other options.

All I can say is this… she’ll never work in a supervisory position again unless she starts her own company. But then again… who’d be stupid enough to be employed by this retard? “Hey I recognize you from somewhere… oh yeah you’re the one who stripped that little girl. Some of you have been mentioning Milgram’s study which I think had to do with the simulated electrocution of people being interrogated, but has anyone mentioned or heard of the study that Phillip Zimbardo and a colleague did with prisoners? Maybe that applies to this situation to.

Another thing I can’t get is with 70 incidents of this happening, why is this sadistic f*ck only getting 16 yrs instead of a more harsher term of say 45-95 yrs? But at least when he gets out he’ll be a registered sex offender. For the fiancee to get 35 yrs if convicted must mean there’s things on this video that they didn’t tell us about or show blurred out.

The real idiot is Summers, she didn’t question the guy on the phone at all. She went along with everything he said. Summers and Nix deserve to burn in hell.

2. The guy who made the prank phone call should not go to jail. Its not his fault these people are too stupid.

3. The guy who spanked the girl KNEW what he was doing was wrong. Whenever the dumb broad manager would walk in, he would put the towel back on the kid and stop hitting her.

4. I don’t think the manager and that other guy were that stupid. They knew this wasn’t right but they went along with it because human nature is to want to do things that are wrong. And in this case they had an excuse to do it. They could just say “Well he told me to…”

In terms of culpability, the first guy who refused to go along with it should have been a bit more explicit when he realised it was BS, but somehow Summers missed it. How come he did not realise it was still ongoing

I used to work at McDonald’s, and although alot of what is said about working ‘by the book’ is true, what really sets apart the 9-5 worker and the best of the staff, is thinking outside of the box – free thinking.

Sure I know what I’d have done, gone in there and wrapped that poor girl multiple aprons before disconnecting the phone and if required taking out the manager and helpers and informing police via emergency services.

To the commentators above, you have no idea what fear can do to a person, some go awol while others are paralysyed. She looks complicit in certain shots, as part of the stepping up process that lead to that situation – she has no clothes, what do you think shes going to do??? Provoke any situation where she’s seen or worse touched by the guy in an attempt to restrain her?? No of course not, she’s just trying to get-by with the least interferrence before the ordeal ends.

Personally I think McDonald’s responsibility ends at the point at which they have to ensure a safe working environment for staff, and install managers capable of safeguarding the key business values. Having to actually tell managers not to allow non vetted members of the public detain/question staff and not to act upon prank calls and not to perform strip searches etc, just smacks of the ‘HOT WATER’ warning on hot drink cups (even that has some sense, as hot cup that was very recently filled will have a cold outside).

The girl deserves the payout, the manager however should not have got a dime.
