Jersey Shore Diet – Jersey Shore star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola has revealed her diet secret: she gave up every good ‘guidette’s’ favorite dish – pasta – to lose weight.
And the reality TV star saw swift results thanks to her new “no carb” Jersey Shore diet.
The 23-year-old lost 15 pounds and then slipped straight into a bikini to flaunt her transformed figure in a photoshoot for Life & Style magazine.
“I just changed my diet, and the next thing you know the pounds just came off,’ Sammi told reporters. “I miss it like crazy, but I don’t eat pasta anymore. I eat my vegetables and try to stay healthy.”
The brunette, who gained weight while partying to excess in Miami for the second season of the hit show, also began an intensive cardio routine.
“I do soccer drills – I jog a lap, then sprint, jog the rest of the way, then sprint again,” she says.
Sammi, who had a on-again, off-again relationship with fellow cast mate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, felt pressure to be in shape.
“You have to look good in Miami because beautiful people are everywhere you look,’ she says. ‘You don’t want to turn into a slob.”
And that’s the buzz at HitsUSA about the surprisingly effective Jersey Shore diet.
