Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger

Could be time to see if your local state fair is selling the Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger. It’s exactly what it sounds like: A cheeseburger with one or more Krispy Kreme doughnuts replacing the bun, clocking a whopping 1,000 calories, according to one purveyor.

If that’s still too healthy for you, the Wisconsin State Fair has improved on the concept by adding chocolate-covered bacon on a stick. We’re not sure why there’s a stick. But in any case, the Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger seems popular.

“It’s a doughnut with chocolate-covered bacon and a cheeseburger put together. How could you go wrong?” raved one diner.

“It’s really good,” his 9-year-old nephew agreed.

Another agreed that it was amazing—once a year. “More than that—I’m in the hospital.”

And that’s the buzz at HitsUSA about the new taste sensation, the Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger.
