Pala Mesa was evacuated. Don't know if power was restored to area. Check with Chamber of Commerce for power updates. No access to fire damaged areas.

Hello all,

I am concerned about my sister's home...I have not heard from her in a few days and have been searching for any info regarding her area or street. I am not very familiar with Fallbrook so am at a loss. Does anyone know anything about her area...Paseo De Olivos is the street name. I am sick for all of the loss, such a shame...just terrible.

FPUD water ok Rainbow water needs to be boiled still. Police have set blocks at all burn areas. Enter Fallbrook through 76 to Gird to Reche or 76 to Mission.
Robert - thank you so much for all your information throughout this. The last picture you posted is of my parents house, safe and standing! Hopefully they will be back in tomorrow, haven't heard about the power yet either though.
Thanks again!

I would like to know if anyone has an accurate read on when Willow Glen gets its power back. I had to clean out a stinky freezer and fridge today after 5 days without voltage. Many of you will soon be treated to similar olfactory delights and pleasures.

Also the real skinny on Red Mountain Res. and the chlorine water issue - is it b.s. or not - do we have to boil????

And people, recent orange county emigres, city dwellers, etc. - the plastic fencing is a joke, fencing shouldn't curl up like al dente rigatoni when hit with a little heat. For years you would come to town and put the fencing on the wrong side of the posts and now this stuff...

Click on my name and you will see some recent shots of the fire area, nothing spectacular but identifiable. I had a pretty comprehensive tour of damage today - very sad. My heart goes out to the Schultzes, Aichle's, Bavaros, Robertsons, Lindemuller, the people on Camino Aliso and all the other great citizens of our town who lost their homes. I thought I was toast at least three times this week. Brian Boren worked his tail off protecting us on Willow Glen. I understand the angst and sometimes anger of those who fled, we worried about the fire turning downtown where I am holed up. Traffic felt like the old days and we all did a fair amount of dodging. Lots of people were forcibly removed so you had to shall we say, step lightly... I wish to thank the Fallbrook Moose Lodge for the kindness they showed everyone and the bond that was forged by their efforts to feed and support.

Fallbrook Town is open. That doesn't mean people are getting in. West side was not hit by fire. Stagecoach west never had fire. The issue is that if people are let in that live in west side they will drive to fire damage in east side. The roads must remain clear for equipment. If you leave town you can't get back in. Thats why I can't give much info on 395 south of Reche if I go there I might not get back into town. Some people left town to go to work in other cities and can't get back in. The east side has no electricity and no gas. I was told by National Guard on Wed. if I am on my property they can't make me leave. If I am in my car they can make me leave. Thats why its kind of hard to drive around. At any time you can be ordered out. I know its hard to understand and we all want this to be over but roads are full with repair trucks cable gas electrical repair. Reche had at least 15 big trucks working today to restore power and they hadn't made it to Live Oak yet. Poeple were let into Bonsal and Olive Hill area but the reverce 911 was a mistake thets why they are back.

Just came from Willow Glen for Mission to end of pavment. No homes burned. I don't know how but all Homes still standing. Yucca Road from Live Oak Corner looks good but didn't dive up Yucca. Fire in Willow Glen was heading North East Helos were dropping seen from end of paved road. I don't know how you can re-evacuacte Fallbrook since knowone has been allowed to re-enter. I will drive up Yucca tomarrow and will check address 223. Fire Dep. will give plan to re-enter 10-26 at 8:00 am. East Side still with no power. Resetting power lines at Reche and Live Oak Park Road. Pala Golf Course Resterant didn't burn. Condos at north end #14-18 4 total burned it was one building I think these are numbers #18 was readable thats all but all one building. Live Oak park may have sutained damage at north end but entrance ok
