Holly Hatcher News – The first year teacher at Gallatin High School pictured below was charged with six counts of statutory rape involving a 17-year old male student.
Nashville news reports that police charged Holly Hatcher after she admitted having sex with an underage teen on six occasions in the last two months. The charge of statutory rape by an authority figure is a misdemeanor.
Nashville police started the investigation after getting information from the Gallatin Police Department and said the student drove to Hunter’s home for the sexual encounters.
The 25-year-old teacher was released on a $6,000 bond, and resigned from her teaching job with the Sumner County Schools after her arrest.

A social studies and history teacher as well as a volleyball coach at Gallatin High School just outside Nashville, Hatcher was well liked by students and many were shocked by the charges.
The 5′10” teacher was a recent graduate from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville where she played softball. Holly Hatcher previously taught social studies at Mt. Juliet high school in the 2005-2006 school year.
Authorities in nearby Davidson County are also investigating. Sumner County may also file additional charges as their investigation continues.

I personally went to Mt. Juliet high school and can say she flirted with all the guys, befriended all the cheerleaders, and wasn’t that good of a teacher. Let’s say this wasn’t the first time of rumors of her and a male student.

I say let her go. Hell It was just as much the students fault as it was hers. Maybe she should have known better, but so should the student. I would have had sex with her, if she came on to me. When I was a 16 year old sophomore in high school back in 1994 I had sexual fantasies about having sex with my 26 year old history teacher. A fantasy that came true, and I have never regretted it.

Holly was run off or kicked out of Lipscomb University for a video with illicit activities on it. Lipscomb never told anyone or warned her next college. Mt. Juliet high school let her go because of the same behavior. Why didn’t they warn Gallatin? Shouldn’t there be some legal recourse against Lipscomb and Mt. Juliet for letting someone continue toward and then continue in education? Shouldn’t there be a national information agreement for schools to report teachers who have been dismissed for things that wouldn’t be good for someone to do in that profession? We wonder why people send kids to private schools and homeschool.

I was a senior at Mt. Juliet when Hatcher taught there. All of us were placing bets on when she’d finally cross the line. She would openly flirt with male students. Glad MJ got rid of her when they did!

She used to sell cars at my dad’s work a few months back. I wouldn’t have recognized her from her mug shot. She’s very pretty in person and I’m really shocked to hear that she stooped to the level of sleeping with one of her underage students.

Where were these teachers when I was in high school? I wanted to get with a few teachers, but never did anything about it. He’s 17 – he is well aware of the repercussions having sex with a teacher. She shouldn’t get in trouble, but the law is the law.

I can honestly say that what happend is not a suprise. and i completly agree something like that should not be held quietly in a school of kids who saw and know what happend and why she got fired. I personally had her and i didnt learn anything and we never did anything because she was to concerned with how to get some and not how to teach us a real lesson.

You need to get your facts straight before you start spouting off about what you don’t know ms. victoria… she didn’t get run off from lipscomb because of a video…i went to school with her& was friends with her & have actually SEEN said video. i know who was on it. so until you know your facts…back off. i’m sure you have skeletons in your closet that you don’t want out. there’s one difference…she got caught. this crap goes on everywhere all the time.

Oh yeah this girl is definetely friendly.I met her a few summers back and was told that she was the university’s favorite person to land recruits with,but they would be 18 or so,wouldnt that be too old for her.No seriously i dont think it matters, i was 19 and took her home a time or two.Sweet girl though and rumors are her mom did the same thing as she has been a teacher for years.Guess the acorn doesnt fall far from the tree!

I went to mjhs while she was teaching there. and let’s just say that all the male teachers and students LOVED her. because she’s a slut! she went out drinking with underage male students all the time. i feel absolutely NO remorse for her, whatsoever. i wish they would’ve caught on while she was at mj, so none of this other stuff would’ve happened.
