Stacy Peterson pictured below is the missing wife of police Sgt. Drew Peterson of Bolingbrook, IL who is the prime suspect in yet another suspicious death.
Stacy Peterson supposedly went missing on her way to meet her sister and her husband on Sunday morning. She had told her family she feared that her husband was going to kill her.
Stacy Peterson was a 17-year old hotel clerk when she married then 46-year old Drew Peterson who had just gotten a quickie divorce from his third wife. Strangely, Stacy’s own mother had gone missing the year before and was never seen again.
Drew Peterson, pictured below, claims his 23 year-old wife has just run off with another man, but her family says she would never leave her two young children, Lacy age 2 and Anthony age 4.
Drew Peterson’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, supposedly drowned in the bathtub in March 2004 while her ex-husband, who lived only a few doors away with Stacy Peterson, had their kids for the weekend. Police have reopened an investigation into what had been labelled an accidental drowning.
Police entered the Peterson home Thursday with sniffing dogs, and impounded two vehicles from the driveway. They have also begun questioning Drew Peterson. The couple’s two children were reportedly staying with a neighbor.
Drew Peterson maintains that Stacy Ann Peterson is “where she wants to be.” When asked if she removed anything from the house before leaving, he told FOX News she took cash, a passport and a bikini.
And that’s the latest news on the missing and presumed dead Stacy Peterson.

“She took cash, a passport and a bikini.” C’mon guys, who knows where their wife keeps her bikinis, let alone how many she has or if one is “missing” or not… And even if you did, who would even think of looking to see if one was missing if your wife had just “left you for another man.” I suspect that in time we will be reading another news article about the arrest (and subsequent conviction) of Drew Peterson.

I knew Kathy Savio. I attended both her wedding to Drew & her funeral. I often pray for Kathy’s family…for closure. Now I pray that Drew is telling the truth this time, that Stacy has just left him & that she’s OK.

It appears cop’s can be criminals too, and with their training can become a little ‘slicker’. I believe this guy at least knows more than he’s admitting. But what in the world was this lady thinking having a relationship with a married cop 34 years her senior? Why do young women dare to step into situations that can’t possibly go anywhere, especially with a guy that’s had 4 ex-wives, one who just drowned mysteriously , and had a two million dollar life Ins policy on her.

I don’t understand why the state police is still saying it’s a missing persons investigation. Drew Peterson is not someone of interest? He’s been cooperative with the police? By the way, where IS he?

What do we know so far? We know that Drew Peterson’s third wife drowned and that after she drowned, she pulled the plug out of the tub. Then, Drew Peterson’s fourth wife left him. Not calling people she cared about, like her sister Cassandra, she called the one person she hated to say she was leaving because she didn’t want him to worry. Still wonder who did it? It was the guy who spent hours in the Ramsey home writing a ransom note and then went to France to kidnap Madeleine McCann through a window even though the door was unlocked. You know the guy. The one who killed Robert Blake’s wife and accompanied O.J. to Nicole’s house.
Enough sarcasm? Drew Peterson killed both of them. He is a serial killer who doesn’t like rejection and covers up his murders.

has it ever occured to any one to check for a connection between peterson and stebic? it is my opinion that it is time to think out of the box! I live in a city that is between plainfield and bolingbrook, and every day i drive around the will/grundy county area, i find myself wondering if this old abandoned house with grass and weeds grown up around it could hold the body of eitherof these women. What about the des plaines river? in lockport there are areas where a person can drive right down to the rivers edge and dump a body. so much of the land in this area is rural and unincorporated and easily marketsable to a coniving individual that has the need for a disposal graound. quit searching the obvious and think outside the box! ipray for the recovery of both of these mothers to be returned to their families in what ever state they are in, but moreso, i pray for justice to be served!!! craig and drew, actions speak louder than words, God bless.

It’s pretty clear he killed her and hid the body. One, a mother doens’t just take off on her kids. two if she was really running away with another man she’d take more than just a bikini. Three, if you’re going to run away you’re going to tell a close friend or family member not the guy you’re running from. Finally if she had run away and not told anyone and then her picture showed up on CNN, the biggest news network on the planet shown in countless countries around the globe she’s probably going to call/email/IM/txt someone in her family to let them know she’s okay or someone is going to recognize her and let the world know she’s okay. but none of that has happened so I’d say she’s gone alright and won’t be coming back except maybe in a big black bag

Stacy is the niece of a close friend of mine. I know her Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin. They’ve been worried about her and her relationship with Drew. I pray to God that she’s safe and sound. They’re not giving up on the search for Stacy. And God forbid that she’s dead. You’re first suspect is going to be Drew Peterson. He can’t get away with another murder. And Stacy would NEVER leave Lacy and Anthony, especially with Drew. And Stacy is very close with her family and she wouldn’t leave without telling Cassandra at least. Yes. He may be a police officer, but not even cops follow the rules. Drew Peterson is the perfect example. I hope they find Stacy safe and sound. I’m praying for her, her kids, and her family.

I think Drew Perterson is guilty because of the fact he has done nothing tohelp with the search or made any appeals for Stacy to come home.
I also feel the Bolingbrook Police Department is covering for their Sargent, I have not heard one story of the BB PD helping with the search. How could they of not known that their Sargent obviously has major issues and could even think of protecting him.
Wife # 3 should of been a red flag and I think it is sad that we can not trust Police officers to do the right thing and not think they are above the law. I think the Chief of BB PD should step down I believe they no alot more about Peterson’s home life and what he may or may not have done, but have a need to protect one of their own.

I will respond since I see someone else did on having a dream. Last week I had just heard on news and that night I dreamed she was in water. She had been sitting in a kitchen and her back was to me and he choked (I dont know who the man was) her from behind. She was put in fetal position and placed in a side door of a van. Ok, I looked up on-line pictures of the cars they had and there was the van just as I saw it. It really got me. The body of water was to my right and to the left I saw alot of roof tops to buildings and a tower of some sort. It was very quick visual and I awoke. I have never done anything like this. I also have a question as to why with all the coverage the first two wives have not come forward? Are they afraid? I pray for the best outcome.

I don`t know. The tower was like a tall skinny tower. The water was to the right and it was a very bright blue. It was all quick and odd. I have had dreams in past as I am a little older and my kids listen when I call. I have never had anything like this but I have never been so intuned to anyone missing. It was probalby just that a dream. I will try and think about it and maybe something will come. I have not heard anything today as OJ is taking up the news again. Just what he wants. Oh, I did look on line trying to find pictures of the town and surrounding areas. Just not enough pictures. I am sure I am just crazy.

I did not see her as being in water it is just that there was water on right and now that you say cemetaries, the tops of these (buildings) were very odd looking. Did the 1st wife come forward? My intial thought about the water was like a stone quarry I lived near in middle Illinois. It was pretty blue. Are there any psychics working on this? I just cant seen to seen anything on news today. The police have a ton of unpublished information. Stacy’s car was at the airport, Mr. Peterson located it, missing passport, money, bikini, etc. As we know airports are soaked in surveillance, and if Mrs. Peterson travelled, verifiably, that would be known. She didn’t.
If there is foul play any cop knows no body makes not an easy prosecution. And there is a real possibility now that a perpetrator has practiced this “skill” before. If it was a cop, police must think like one, if that makes any sense. How can there be optimism with two missing persons and a VERY suspicious death, within the same police jurisdiction?

Actually there are a lot of pretty blue retention ponds near newer housing developments and quite a few radio and comminications towers also, as well as cell phone towers.Also Rachael, I do not think you are crazy at all. alady was murdered not too far from where I live last year and each night when I sat in my family room, I told my husband it was like I could feel her presence. When they finally found her body, my husband pointed out that if we were able to drive in a straight line for about a mile from where my chair is in the family room, that is where her body was found. Talk about feeling crazy. It still gives me the chills. What you dreamed also gives me the chills, as I know of a place just like the one you described and the lake is a big retention pond where folks fish, the tower is to the left and you can see the roof-tops of beautiful homes from this man-made lake and the road dead-ends into a large field. My name is Rachel but there is another one here too. Last night I dreamed again. It was not a good one. I saw her and felt her terror. Like I said never had dreams of crimes before and don`t want to. She was in a place where there was no furniture and he was yelling and hitting her. He had a gun and large knife. I woke up in a sweat and could not go back to sleep. What you said Mae about the retention pond and tower makes sense. The other thing about the lady sitting in the kitchen chair she had very long dark hair and her neck was hurt. I now think maybe it was the other wife. I don`t know how two can be in same dream but the more now I see makes sense. Again, are there psycics working on this and has either of the other two wives come forward? I understand completely about your feeling you had. OMG ! I am the other person that had a dream. There are so many similarities in what you are saying Rae. The water, the neck, the terror! I to have become obsessed.
This is so not like me, and I have NEVER experienced anything like this and really don’t want to again.
My work is in the healing realm, I am a reiki master and recently closed a metaphysical store. I have colleauges that work as mediums and light workers. But for me it has never been visual and I would certainly never refer to myself as a ‘psychis’.

It makes me sad to see what’s happening regarding this case. Serial killers are called serial killers for a reason (because they kill and keep killing), they begin in their mid-twenties, and they follow their own unique pattern. Drew Peterson kills when he is enraged by a female. Christie Marie Cales (the mother of Stacy Peterson) was reported missing on March 11, 1998, when her daughter Stacy was 14. Either she was dating Drew first (which would explain several disappearances by Christie) or she told Stacy she couldn’t date Drew or Drew continued to watch Stacy grow up until she was old enough–after killing Christie. Either way, Drew Peterson killed her. In 2004, he murdered Kathleen Savio. In 2007, he murdered Stacy. When three murdered or missing people can be linked, which is true in this case, Ockham’s razor demands that we first seek a theory that explains all three, before we seek two or three causes of death. Drew Peterson makes one cause for all three. His history of violence and murder threats to Kathleen and Stacy more than suggests that he is the killer. They need to re-investigate the life of Christie Cales, the history and timeline of Drew Peterson’s relationship with Stacy Peterson, in addition to a new autopsy of Kathleen Savio.

I have a comment on the Autopsy Report: Kathleen Savio.
Related to the Stacy Peterson incident. I have no medical degrees or claim to have any professional experience in the medical field.
After looking into the autopsy report of Kathleen Savio I saw some interesting things. When they talk about all of the contusions that are round and small, that seems to be consistent with a police nightstick. These contusions where found on the shins, buttocks, breasts, and other locations.This nightstick was reported in Kathleen Savio plea for help as she reports that Drew Peterson chased her around the house with it.
The report goes on to explain the bruises on her wrists. This seems consistent to handcuff markings. Please consider this information and forward it to any persons that may find it interesting.

What’s obvious to me is that someone has enough knowledge to plan the perfect muder. If Stacy is alive (which would be stunning), I can understand why she would want to separate herself from this wacko. She may have information regarding the Savio death or possibly even the disappearance of her own mother, all the more reason to run from Drew. If she truly has passed I would say that Drew has concocted a perfect plan for murder. If her car was found at the airport, did Drew have access to an airplane? Drew could have drugged her, rolled her body into some type of fence material bound with plastic ties and flew over any body of water – disposing of her body. Lake Michigan is not that far and we’re out searching detention basins? I think he will crack under pressure before too long.

I’ve just put in an order for some rope. but.. If the cops had evidence of Mr. P committing murder, surely he would be detained to eliminate the chance of evidence tampering, self harm or numerous other things including an accidental dismemberment by mob. On the flip side they may have enough but keep him free-range for psychological profiling via the media he craves, or the unlikely event he will do something overtly stupid at this point, but it happens. FYI, a recent convicted wife murderer in Ireland almost got away with it except his cell phone was placed at the murder scene, not at work 25 miles away where his alibi had him. If he had left the phone at work instead of contacting his girlfriend near the murder he would be free.

This murder case is pretty typical of our society, no one cares when their neighbor is having trouble & they don,t pay attention. Even Kathy Savio,s family kept their distance how many days was she in the tub???. I am sure Stacy left a CLUE”some where in that House if she knew in her Heart he might Kill her. She had to have written things down , all women do especially since Stacy was coming of age, & finally growing up” As a Society we need to stop putting importance on people with authority It say,s so in the Bible.

Because we do not take care of things quickly when people confess, or they are found out with damning evidence, I am not talking about a maybe, the seems beyond, I am talking about Polly Clause, Scott Peterson, etc… These people should not be on death row for 10 years, they should be executed. maybe people would fear, like someone said if they see someone touch a live wire, they wouldn’t touch that live wore again etc…

of course, the processing. It seems that some Police don’t want to follow through or do the right things. Just because its too much paperwork or they have moral delimas. If you are a Police Officer, you take an oath to do the right thing, don’t hesitate, just do it. I know that all Police Officers are not bad people, but the ones that are just piss me off.
Along with C.W Says, if there is evidence beyond all reasonable doubt and they are on death row. Get rid of them, don’t give them T.V., hot meals and showers. Then think its cruel and unusual punishment when we want to follow through with the death sentence. Just shot them and be done with it, or kill them the way they killed.

The constitution should get you a speedy trial, no Bible required. No timeframe for evidence gathering though, so for an autopsy a coroner can sign off on a murder and call it something else.
Stacy might be well if one of the multitude of people who knew the bath death was suspicious acted. So are they, if poor stacy isn’t found alive, an accessory to murder?
I know it’s old but supposedly “evil is what happens when good people do nothing”.

Has anyone checked if his car has on star which has Gps on it? His and Stacys cell phones for towers that his signal went through? This would give us an idea of where he was for the days leading up to her disapperance. Also if you remember he covered his face right after she went missing, could this be because someone might remember seeing him near her car at the airport or someplace else. Also airport lots have camera’s have these been checked?
For people like him it is the small things that trip them up. The stores near his house should be checked if anyone remembers him buying plastic bags, bleach, cleaning supplies. I think the clues will be found in the area he lives or has lived in the past these stores, gas stations and areas need to be checked. Also how was he allowed to date a 15/16 year old and not be charge for rape at his age.

I was just visiting Bolingbrook, and someone told me that 3 Bolingbrook cops were fishing about 5 years ago, and that one of them drown. Question: Was Drew Peterson on that fishing trip? Was he one of the officers that didn’t drown? Does anyone know anything about this?

As Peterson is a Bolingbrook police officer, his department is automatically superceded by the Illinois State Police when a local constabulary has an officer involved in a high profile case. The State is running this investigation, not the BBPD. So cops protecting their own doesn’t merit here.

Greta had the daughter of wife #2 on last night (Monday). Tonight Greta is interviewing a juror, who is one of the six jurors who helped rule her death as an ‘accident’. All 6 jurors supposedly had all the documentation of Kathleen’s (wife #3) abuse, her letters to the Asst States Atty pleading for help, and the autopsy results and still managed to rule her death an ‘accident’.
I’m sure they (all 6 jurors) were either paid to come up with the ‘accident’ verdict or feared for their own lives from Drew and what he could do if they came back with a ‘homocide’ verdict.

I wonder if Drew’s fellow cops will close ranks and refuse to tell what they know. I’m sure Drew said plenty to them over the years, and now is the time for them to do the honorable thing.
It’s just a matter of time before the body is found. And by the way, I hope the D.A. starts looking at a link between the coroner and Drew. Did they know each other? Were they friends? Kathleen Savio’s autopsy report is online…after you read it, there’s no way you’d come back with an “accidental drowning” verdict. Something’s fishy.

I just learned that the cops 2 year old daughter was named Lacey. That creeped me out knowing that Lacey Peterson in CA was killed by her husband. Some what a similarity here?
Go figure, Drew is a cop, been one for 30 years. Knows the ins and outs of all crimes. Funny too that after 3 years of his wife Kathy’s death they think there was fowl play? Strange too, she drowned in a bath tub with no water in it? She was laying face down in the tub with wounds all over her body? How come then, in the first place her death was labeled drowning? Like the old saying goes. “Money walks, chit talks”. Who’s not saying that hubby could have paid the state to keep quiet in her death.
The guy is as guilty as guilty comes. Heck, he even went on national television and spoke out. He gives a plea for his wife, Stacy to return, and laughs? I hope they hang this SOB from the tallest tree in IL.

It’s a bit lonely to say but as of now there is no murder and therefore no murderer. There is a ton of strangeness and suspicion, but essentially thats all. For now.
If there is a murder and it takes 30 years to solve Drew will then possibly be with his seventh wife, at current rate.
If the felon is then 83 he wins, incarceration means no-fee high security nursing home. Worst case would be at that point (no offense to the infirm or unfit) euthanasia by lethal injection, including a tasty last meal.
Justice? For who?

It really is amazing that during the whole interview with matt lauer he didnt show any emotion. I dont care if he’s guilty or not, you would have some sort of emotion. If he was so innocent he would have plead a little harder for stacy to come home, or would have talked more about her and not himself and how he was on the show for a lawyer not to find his wife. This man disgusts me…if he some how walks away from this “innocent” the justice system should be ashamed of themselves!!

I have come up with a theory: after watching DP on MSNBC, What a Sociopath no conscious He Killed Stacy then paid cash 25.000 the money he said Stacy took with her from the home safe for her vacation to a mortician to cremate her body . No evidence & his hands aren,t dirty. Just a theory. His old friend Ric Sims said he always bragged he knew alot of people. Latest news: the BB mayor & board approved his retirement money. What corruption, get rid of DP & BBPD is back in buisness how convient for them. Hope they get the SOB for Savio,s murder & press stays camped out in front of his house.

If a case earns it’s way to the “Supremes” (not band) the money is replaced with partisianship or thereabouts.

Also, if stacy is the 4th wife, and Kathleen being the 3rd, Where is wife #1 and Wife #2?? And why aren’t they asking them what type of violence they incurred while being married to this sickO? I find this interesting and yet so sad. I took this man as a cold hearted something. He did not respond as a heart broken lover, who just lost his wife. He knows she can’t come back, and he knows right where she is….he looks mighty guilty of something in my eyes….. I sure hope they find her soon….. I pray she is ok, but after seeing him on tv and listening to him, I don’t think it looks good for her….. I hope the truth comes out about the other wife also. I will follow close to this one.

It’s good to see that you are all thinking. Google the words “psychopath”, “sociopath” and “anti-social personality.” Memorize the descriptions. Then when you find yourself attracted to some charming person who has these qualities, do it again and remind yourself that larger-than-life charm and smooth-talking are often part of the pattern.
Most psychopaths/sociopaths/antisocial personalities don’t commit murder. But psychopathy is dangerous anyway. It is a personality disorder where one person uses other people as objects for his/her own pleasure.
Psychopaths also discard people very quickly when they become boring, or when someone else catches their fancy. They don’t feel bound to tell the truth, so they can be enormously charming. (Couldn’t we all be very charming if we could make it all up?) In addition, psychopaths have so much PRACTICE, they can really sweep someone off their feet. Women who crave romance can easily get caught up in it.
It was good to see that you picked up on his inappropriate demeanor during the Today interview. What do you want people to know about you? That I’m not usually like this; I’m usually a jokester… The similarities to the other Peterson, OJ, and even the Menendez brothers are all very interesting. The more everyone starts to notice, the less likely these kinds of people wll be able to get away with it in the future.
Kiss your kids, your spouse, your mom, your dad, your extended family. GIve them a heartfelt hug. The more people feel loved, the less vulnerable they will be to someone like this. Thank God every day that you and your loved ones are safe.
And those of you who dream — keep dreaming. Try to figure out the similarities in your dreams, and then call and volunteer the information to whomever is handling this case. If you can, get organized first and do it together. I don’t have these talents myself, but I believe they exist. Unfortunately, many of the people who have them are not very organized; they are more emotional in general, so it is easier for authorities to ignore them. And of course, there are also people who pretend to be gifted in this area who really aren’t, and that just confuses everybody.
But if you try to pinpoint more information in each dream, and then share and compare, you may actually be able to come up with information that could be helpful. Write it down and hand it to whoever is managing the case in person, if possible. If not, try to find a sympathetic person in that office who will see that your note reaches the most superior investigator. When you do that, dress very conservatively. Remember that this is IL, not CA, so the top investigator is likely to be biased against dream phenomena. So try to act as objectively and matter-of-fact as someone the officer might find credible. People with good ideas (like Rosum) should write them down and deliver them or mail them to the officer in charge.

Hey folks, just read through all of this, and I’m watching Nancy Grace right now with all the updates.
I’m not a physic, but I too see her in water. He didn’t transport her in the van however, I see a smaller car. Did they check his vehicles for DNA? I see something wrong with her neck, as if it’s been broken.
Kathleen (wife #3) was murdered by Drew because he didn’t want to pay the 2 grand a month in child support. I fully believe he did kill Kathleen. A 40-something woman just doesn’t drown in a bathtub. And it’s funny, (not ha ha funny, weird funny) that Drew not only got out of paying the child support, bu the also got full custody of his kids.
Stacy had sent emails saying he was somewhat abusive. Drew claims these emails were faked by a family member of Stacy’s. His third wife, the one who’s dead too, had 18 (count em, EIGHTEEN) official complaints of Domestic Violence lodged against Drew. And each complaint he brushed off as “she blew it out of porpotion”. He also made a point of saying although he cornered Stacy once during an argument, he never raised a hand to her. But she managed to clobber him with a frozen steak. Guess it didn’t hurt him.
This man is a classic Dometic Abuser. His being a cop has only served to make him seem above the law. Although the State police took over the case when it was discovered Kathleen was the ex-wife of a Bolling cop, they still tainted the investigation somewhat… after all, it was Drew who “found” her body. Despite her numerous wounds, they determined she drowned, in a dry tub. And I’m the Queen Mum.
You know, at least Scott Peterson made it look like he was looking for his wife. He did show up at the command centers, although it’s been said he didn’t stay long, and during this time he was still conversing with Amber Frey. (Bless that woman, she deserves a medal for what she had to put up with, the media and all.) His mistake was having a girlfriend on the side. In that case, I fully believe Scott drowned Lacy in their swimming pool. Despite the time of the year, it was fairly nice in Modesto that day, and the pool was heated. Lacy told Scott’s half sister she enjoyed floating in the pool to take the weight of the baby off her back. Perfect set-up.
But back to Drew… if Stacy took off with another man, then how come NONE of her family or friends have heard a word from her? Like Kathleen, Drew was the last person (admittedly by his own words) to have seen or talked to his wife. I don’t see Drew involved with the disappearence of Stacy’s mother, although at this point, I believe if they find Stacy, they may find her Mom too. Who knows? Drew is a cop, 29 years on the force… he knows all the right people, but better yet, he also knows all the WRONG people. The people who “owe” him something, a favor perhaps… people who would hide a body, park a car at the airport to throw the authorities off, people who’d take a few of Stacy’s things and get rid of them too. There is NO record of Stacy anywhere after she “left”. In this day and age, that’s nighe on impossible.
Again, I think he did kill her, broke her neck, wrapped her in plastic and disposed of her. This would account for why there was no blood. A broken neck is quick, silent and instantanious. He’s a big man, she was a small woman.
In closing, I hope they do find enough to pin this on him. A cop in prison gets NO rest. None at all.

I’m also reminded of the Yosemite murders… when the husband od Carole Sund went on national TV after his wife and daughter and the other girl didn’t show up as expected, he was a basket case. He could barely speak and begged everyone to look for his wife. Drew isn’t doing any of this. It’s like “She left me, no biggie”. Along with Scott Peterson’s boo boo of talking about Lacy in a past tense, it’s what he DOESN’T do that speaks volumes. Look at anyone else who’s wife honestly disappears… the husband is ALWAYS inconsoulable.

There have been cases of emotional teary-eyed men and women using TV for the return of their loved ones, except the part where they killed them.
It’s at the point now if sgt. P passes wind, it will make the wrong sound. A perceived guilty man can do no right.
If there is foul play, and for me it’s impossible to see how not, D.P.’s confidence is increasing with each second: the initial heavily disguised and media shy freakshow becoming the relaxed talkshow participant.
It doesn’t take a law graduate to see there is a once in a lifetime huge risk opportunity in Drews appeal for legal help. If there is no prosecution or a not guilty by jury there is the payoff…I have seen “experts” interviewed who called him a murderer, just a bit soon.

JOLIET, Ill. – Amid the search for a former police officer’s fourth wife, a nationally known pathologist has examined the remains of the officer’s previous wife at her family’s request and determined she was killed.
Former New York City chief medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden analyzed Kathleen Savio’s remains and concluded she died after a struggle, and her body was placed in the bathtub where she was found, Baden said Saturday.
“I don’t think there’s any possibility this was an accident, and I don’t think there’s any indication this was suicide,” he told Fox News, which flew him to Chicago so he could examine the remains Friday with the family’s consent.
Results of a separate, official autopsy will not be available for several days, authorities said.

It seems to me that the previous coroner who had ruled the third wifes death an accidental drowning, should at the least loose his job! I would prefer prosecution for either a cover up or incompetence, but the latter is unfortunately not a crime.

I can not belive what I have been reading. The people that take the time and think about things. Unlike the people that should be doing thier jobs. No one but the people that are not on the case can see that is guy is bad news. I hate to jump to anything because I have never met any of these people but you have to wonder what the hell is going on? I watched Drew Peterson on the morning show this morning and he sat thier with a smile on his face as his lawyer answered all the questions. I think he did it and honestly thinks he is going to get away with it. I feel for the family that has to go through this, no one should have to go thorugh this. That is what is wrong with this world today we forgive way to easy. Someone should have done something about this guy when he killed his last wife, and thier is no saying we don’t know if that is true because we all know that it is. This man should be taken off the streets and put in a cell next to his friend Scott Peterson they would get along great. They both are a waste of time and energy in this world. My daughter has to grow up in this world and I don’t feel like we are doing enough to keep our self or our familys safe any more. How do we change that? The man could not even say he was worried his wife wouldn’t come home and not once have I heard “I Love You” or “We Miss You” come out of this man’s mouth. This morning was the first time I heard this man speak. I know nothing about this case aside from her being missing, until I saw the morning show. Immediately I knew he was guilty of something. He was defensive right away with the one question he did answer. When asked if he was worried, he responded with saying that his wife left, and they have kids, so therefore, yes he is worried. Instead of “yes, I am very worried, we are going to do all we can to find her” He first makes his point “she left me” had to get that out there for everyone to hear. Not a tear in his eye..not even a sad look on his face. If my husband should “leave” I would be devastated…not only for me, but for my child. I think his attorney decided he comes off too guilty, so he did all the talking.

This story is unremarkable in so many ways, that i will not take the time to comment on all. However, I only wish that DP could be interrigoted to the fullest extent that law allows. Doing so cruly would only be acting as he has. Domestic Violence is so real and more common than people want to know. Moms hope that the situation will get better and all the harsh things these guys threaten their wifes with will go away and their husbands will be cured and these thoughts become so normal to them like hoping for the money to be there before the bills clear. Before you know it, no matter how many times you’ve been told you’ll be the next one on Fox, dead before the police get here, or no one will be able to find you, it is you and you hoped for too long. My thoughts and prayers go out to these families that have had to live each day knowing that their sister, mom or family member was in harms way. It is amazing that DP can show no amount of suffering for what he has to caused all these family members to go thru for such a very long time.

It is a sad day when jurors and fellow officers turn the other way when something that is out of the ordinary happens to a brother officer. Come on guys I know all about the brotherhood thing and all (my husband is a homicide detective , has been for over 25 years) but to anyone with any common sense the death and subsequent disappearance of a man’s wives smells bad enough to warrant a very serious investigation. I don’t know one person who has seen him on television and has not commented on his affect, or lack of. Everyone has emotions, we don’t need to see him crying all of the time but you know what if it were really true that his wife ran off with someone with him being so controlling, (everyone that has ever had any contact with him will attest to this fact) he would be furious. If he would decide to go on television anyway everyone would see this anger right away. He’s not innocent, he’s not a victim he’s simply a cold , calculating murderer and sooner or later will be caught!

The first thing that makes me sad is the motherless children. Now 4 children will be motherless, and probably no father in the near future. The fact that Stacey would consider a man 30 year her senior shows that she had some issues. I find it very sad that she looked to him for safety, security, and a very tender young age of 17, and ultimately he was the most dangerous. I think as she grew older, she also grew more mature psychologically, which increased the emotionally distance between her and her husband. He tried the only the tricks he knew by buying her more materialistic items like a Harley. The same tricks that worked for him in the past. As she grew older and more mature, no car, no house, no motorcycle will fill the void deep inside of her. I don’t know Stacey, but feel like she was going on the right path with asking for a divorce, looking for other living arrangements, taking nursing classes, and not leaving her children. The more Drew saw her growing independent, the more he grew frustrated and I do believe he killed her. He got away with murder before, why not again? He is just going back to what works for him. I watched Matt Lauer interviewing Drew, and saw him get upset with the subject of the media outside of his home. Matt asked him some very tough questions, and he didn’t even flinch physically or emotionally, only to the “media question”. I think the media is doing an awesome job bringing all the facts of the case to the public, and Drew hates it. Drew preyed on Stacey when she was 17, and again at 23. Why was the State not involved with Statutory Rape? She was 17, and he was 47. I thought you have to be over 18 to legally consent sex? I see him make a Freudian slip with “She went underground” and lying by omission with his comments with Matt Lauer about “She’s not coming home”. I hope more evidence comes forward to convict him. I know I am being very judgmental, and it is wrong in our legal system, but I guess I just have to talk about it. Looking to hear your comments.

Despite the emotive stuff I don’t see a murder of wife #4. #3 looks likely, but there is a body and still nothing conclusive.

It just seems that with the number of people who are looking into this that something would have popped up by now. I know he looks guilty, and might be, but it just seems odd that there has been nothing new on this.
His steps would be easy enough to track, and there in no way that he could have had help without them being found by now. Perhaps she did run away. Women are a strange breed and they do some interesting things.
Remember that woman a few years ago that disappeared and was later found running away out west?

The police are only going to release a piece at a time. We don’t know all that the police know. I’m sure they are building their case. If the police arrest now, the attorney will ask for disclosure of all evidence. If they only show circumstancing evidence without the body, it will be a long case with a lot of open ends. The state can not try him for the same charge, its called double jeopardy. I think the police will make an air tight case, and going to exhaust all avenues, and hope Stacy appears.
My theory Jim is he does have a pilot license, and not just for his Aquilla Trike. The Sun Times has reported interviewing the man that trained Drew for his Aquilla Plane. He reported that he was very nice, but he already had a pilot license. I think he went to Clow airport, which are only blocks for his house. I think Drew used some other plane located at the airport, and not the Aquilla Trike. I looked online to see what the Aquilla Trike looked like, and it is very small. I think he used her phone and called his own phone to fake some of the time line.

I also have reason to believe i saw her mother before at the age of 15. A women in fact who looks just like her mother.This was in 2000-2001 She was although a frightened women and was at this time a pill popper hiding in her house 24-7 a day. She was afraid of the outside world.This was in capron Ill just shortly after she dissapeared.I am now 21.She was at this time living where i said. I was kicked out of my house at 15 yrs of age when i saw this women i claim to look exactly as the picture was in the news paper under like mother like daughter.Which she did say to me her name was christie.Also she claimed to me she was hiding from something. If he was only a suspect in the homicide of wife #3 then he could still be arrested as a suspect and put on trial for that murder. The only time it would be double jeopardy is if he had been tried for that crime. Then he could not be tried again. But as it is, since no one was tried, it is wide open for him.
I read somewhere today that they did give him a lie detector test and he failed. I am not sure about the legitimacy of that article however, and I did not have time to read the whole thing. I just saw it as a headline somewhere. I believe that the FBI is doing a much more inclusive investigation than they are being given credit for in this forum. They are not going to release all of their cards to the media until their case is solid. And, perhaps until 2 or 3 cases against him are solid.
I think if we hide and watch things will unfold in due time. Unfortunately for the family of Stacy that time will seem like an eternity. I hope and pray that their sweet children are able to heal from this horrid experience.

im wondering if the law has checked around their swimming pool. maybe this is dumb but it is an above ground one and it lookes like it has dirt all around it or something. im wondering why the officials are looking in the fields water etc., if he didnt dispose of the body under neath the pool ..and well maybe like i said dumb but.. it wouldnt be hard to dig a hole to fit a container.. the barrel missing i think may just be something like a decoy.. this man is insane.. reminds me alot of scott petersen case. he and scot have the same type of personalities.

My gut tells me that he’s innocent. He may be a slime dog (there’s no monopoly on that). But, when it’s all said and done he’ll be exonerated. And that will appear somewhere in small print on a inside page of the paper.

Former Bolingbrook, Ill., police officer Drew Peterson has been named a suspect in the disappearance of his fouth wife, Stacy Peterson.
CHICAGO — Authorities searching for missing mother Stacy Peterson executed search warrants to review a GPS system in her husband’s sports utility vehicle and seek physical evidence, according to a report.
Stacy was reported missing on Oct. 29 after failing to show up at a friend’s house.
Drew Peterson, a former police sergeant, is a suspect in his wife’s disappearance. He denies any involvement in her disappearance and claims she left him for another man.

Officials served a warrant on Peterson Tuesday, asking for the seizure of items containing plastic shavings, blood, bodily fluids, fingernail scrapings, palm or fingerprints, chemicals that may alter body decomposition and other “biological material that may be evidence of the offense of first-degree murder.”
Authorities initially seized iPods, computers, backpacks, 11 guns, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix and a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali.
A Nov. 1 warrant called for “all GPS records, cellular service records, logging records or any other electronic records in the possession of OnStar Inc.” from a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali driven by Drew Peterson.
The newest warrant requested objects of blue plastic, lead weights, plastic shavings and scuff marks, circular impressions or carpet indentations or other plastic or barrel-like object.
It also lists dirt, gravel, soil and other material that might be tested to determine a vehicle’s presence at a certain location; also guns, ammunition, knives and ropes that may have been used as a weapon or restraint, according to the Tribune..
The warrant seeks object that “have any of the following on them: blood, hairs, fingernails, bodily fluids, body tissue, DNA, fingerprints, fingernail scrapings, palm prints, saliva, urine, feces, or other biological material which may be evidence of the offense of first-degree murder.”
Joel Brodsky, Peterson’s attorney, said the first warrant allowed authorities to search the cars but not seize them. The Tuesday warrant corrected that error.
On Wednesday, law enforcement search teams searched the freezing waters of the Illinois Michigan canal with boats and divers for signs of Stacy Peterson.
Crews used three boats to search the waterway in Lockport, Ill., for Peterson.
Illinois State Police notified Stacy Peterson’s family about the canal search, Pam Bosco, a family spokeswoman, told FOXNews.com. A sonar search led authorities to the area, Bosco said.
“There were things there, and they wanted to investigate,” Bosco said, adding that she didn’t know of anything specific that led authorities to the canal.
Illinois State Police confirmed that it is the lead agency in search efforts, but would not comment on the canal search. “Our missing person investigation is ongoing,” Illinois State Police Sgt. Luis Gutierrez told FOXNews.com.

i have also had a dream. 2 weeks before stacy disappeared. I have read through every single one of these comments and it left me in tears for stacy and her children and the rest of her family. I have psychic abilities. And I have been working with a member of law enforcement. They have not shared any information with me rearding the case and evidence. Yet, I don’t need it. I do believe stacy left something as evidence and could be linked to her cell phone (maybe a pic or video) I find it interesting that there are other people who have had dreams of a large body of water and something black. I’m curious in the past of Stacy Peterson and Drew Peterson. Has anyone asked what kind of man in his late 40s marry to a 17 yr old and on top of that he is also a cop. I always thought by law a 17 yr old is still consider a minor. Also what was her state of mind for marrying someone who’s most likely her father’s age. Everyone is looking for Stacey in the river, all over the place. I have a funny feeling everytime I see pictures of the house that she is still somewhere inside the house. That may be why Drew is so smug while they are searching all around the river and all the other property.
I have been heavily obsesed with this case ever since I saw the first broascast for some reason, as usually I just catch the news, shrug it off after praying for the people, then forget about it. This time I just can’t get her out of my mind, and have never met her.
Is there a attic or a hidden part of the basement? It might just be worthwhile looking the house over again for hidden entries.
My prayers are with her and her family and children, that she may yet return safe, but feel that she already would have, if it were possibly within her power.

I haven’t seen anything on the news for quite sometime about this case. Why haven’t they arrested DP? There are cases that people are found guilty and the body or bodies are never found. This case is haunting me. They are not looking in the right place-I just feel it in my bones. How stupid does Drew Peterson think people are? So far he’s gotten away with too much, but sooner or later it will catch up with him.
-If Stacy left him for another man, why hasn’t he pleaded for her to at least contact her family or authorities. She doesn’t have to contact him directly.
-The same goes for the so-called witnesses that have seen her in Peoria and Kentucky. Why would they contact him and not the family or the police? Because its bull!

“You are an old, pathetic, black-souled, murderous psycho-pathetic [expletive],” the letter said. “And your [expletive] lawyer Brodsky ain’t no better!”
“Whoever wrote this letter has serious issues and needs serious psychiatric help,” Brodsky said.
Issues or not, Brodsky said the writer would be wise to stay away from his client, who is a karate expert and former police officer.
“You definitely don’t know what you’re getting into,” Brodsky said.

I Believe with all my heart that he is guilty. I also believe he had some help from a frined. They may have used things to help cover-up. I also believe as someone else stated Lisa Steibec is also linked. I would bet my life Kathleen was drugged with GHB. If enough of the drug is contained in a drink it only takes a few sips. She could have slipped inder the water her respirations severely depressed. I am so certain the deaths are linked I placed an angels with their names on the Virgins Marys hands. I go often and pray. Drew Peterson Killed His Third Wife Kathleen Savio
CHICAGO (AP) – Amid the search for a former police officer’s fourth wife, an autopsy on the exhumed body of the man’s third wife found what her relatives have long suspected — her death was no accident.
Kathleen Savio died by drowning and her death was ruled a homicide, Dr. Larry W. Blum said in an autopsy report released Thursday by the state’s attorney’s office. It was the second autopsy performed on Savio.
She was found dead in her bathtub in March 2004, shortly before her divorce with Drew Peterson was finalized. Four years ago, a coroner’s jury ruled her death was an accident.
Savio’s body was exhumed late last year after Peterson was named a person of interest in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy. He has said Stacy Peterson ran off with another man, but her relatives deny any affair and say she would not have willingly left her two young children.
“We have been investigating this as a murder since reopening the case in November of last year,” Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow said. “We now have a scientific basis to formally and publicly classify it as such.”
Blum’s report largely echoes the work of nationally known pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, who performed a third, unofficial autopsy at the request of Savio’s family. Baden concluded that Savio died after a struggle, and her body was placed in the bathtub.
Peterson, 54, has denied any involvement in either case and has not been charged with wrongdoing. He was a sergeant and 29-year veteran in the Bolingbrook, Ill., police department when he resigned after coming under suspicion in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance.
Peterson told the (Joliet) Herald-News the ruling in Savio’s death shocked him. “You’re kidding me. Unbelievable. That’s hard to believe,” he told the newspaper.

The gravel people are seeing is not in the road, it is in the concrete he mixed up and put her ashes in, and it is at that house. He “fixed something” that involves concrete, if only human ashes can be found in concrete. I too have dreams and that freak looks like an ex- husband I had, a bad firefighter, whom had a gang of firefighter friends to lie for him. I thought I was dreaming of that scalewag, but realized I’d seen this bird on T.V., pretending all the ladies just want a glimpse of him. He is so confident he has covered all his bases. Drew will never be arrested for his crimes!!! He is a cop, they know how forensics works, he knows what is looked for and how to get rid of evidence. He got away with it once and he will a second time as well. He wont be punished until he meets his maker.

nancy grace is the lowest form of slime that oozes thru the network of media. in the matter of stacy peterson and her alleged killer, has anyone noticed that no one has been permitted on her show that has not already rushed to judgement for the sake of sensationlism, and this commen thread can be seen thru all of her broadcasts. i guess fox is the only fair and balanced news caster giving the viewers equal opportunity to hear both sides of the story. now whether the man is guilty or not the court of public opinion has linched this man already. i also point the finger at the producers of her show. and the moral crime that they are perpertrating against the amerincan people is sononamous to a typical linch mob. who gives a crap abhout her fat a.. and her kids. whats everyone gonna say when stacy peterson walks back into the lime light?

Im not sure.(please if someone knows more correct me at this stage)..but i read somewhere that drew peterson had said his wife had gone somewhere “warm”…that would explain the passport and bikini but,what if he wasnt talking about a country with a warm climate? What if…(i dont mean to start gruesome rumours or anything but im thinking of the psychology of this man and his body language during his interviews with the media)what if he has dumped the body of stacy in an incinerator or something of such source???does any one living in that area know of a place with a nearby incinerator?what about funeral homes?Has the police covered those?
I pray that if he’s guilty he’s found out….

Drew Peterson is a free man only because of the wretched cronyism protecting him in Bolingcrook Village Hall and in the Police Department. Only a change to honest Village leadership/new Mayor will allow a truly unhindered investigation to take place.
Remember our “Boss Hog” Mayor Roger Claar and Drew have a long history. Boss Hog rehired Drew Peterson in the 1980s after he was fired for taking money from drug dealers and giving up undercover cops to the druggies (Boss Hog was Police Commissioner back then).
Then more recently Boss Hog Claar accepts Peterson’s resignation over the objection of then Police Chief Ray McGury (McGury was actively investigating Peterson for internal misconduct at the time). On top of this Boss Hog then rewarded Peterson with a full pension after Savio and apparently Stacy were murdered. And then Boss Hog Claar harasses McGury to no end until he leaves and takes a job back in Naperville (too honest a Police Chief for Boss Hog).
Now Boss Hog’s Election Board political cronies have illegally said that Bonnie Kurowski-Alicea can’t be on the ballot for Bolingbrook Mayor against him in our April 7 Mayoral election. But Bonnie shocked Boss Hog and his cronies in running against him as a write-in Bolingbrook Mayor candidate.
Bonnie really cares about justice (unlike Boss Hog Mayor Claar and the Bolingcrook Police Department) and resolving these outstanding Peterson wives’ murder/missing cases is a high priority for her. As Mayor she can get rid of the corrupt cops and get to the bottom of the Kitty and Stacy cases.
Please actively get everyone you know in Bolingbrook to vote for “Bonnie Kurowski-Alicea” as write-in candidate for Bolingbrook Mayor on April 7. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thank you for making a difference for Kitty, Stacy, and all of Bolingbrook!!!

Drews peterson killed stacy,he burned her body beyond belief,he did it alone in a remote area so nobody would find evidence,i don’t believe the funeral home because the director there would of reported his actions, he took ehr ashes and dumped them either in cement on a highway soemwhere or burried them in teh area or flown his plane and let them go,whatever the fact is i have had dreams for 18 months she died on the spot in the house in teh basement or garge hit with a blunt object as a barbell or hammer, placed her in that barrel and tom morphy helped dp move it but left tm alone for awhile while dp did his act of worseer then i can expect,he killed stacy and burned her, he deserves death and i hope he gets death,the needles toe asy, do teh chair, fry his sorry butt.

Stacy met Drew Peterson when she was 17. She made a decision to become involved with him.
She had consenual sex with him. Why is everyone upset with Drew Peterson when Stacy did all this of her own free will.

I’m trying to make sense about what MIKE says on 5/18 post. She wanted “things” like breast implants, and married Drew Peterson and he gave her those things.
People aren’t upset with Drew Peterson because he had consensual sex with her. (Well, some may be, because of their age difference). They’re upset with him because he is suspected of murdering her (and his 3rd wife).
If this young lady took off, ran away, she doesn’t seem to me that she was so clever that she would be able to do so without leaving some kind of trail. Who did she run away with? Is she really so smart and clever that she’s been able to stay under the radar for this long and not be noticed? Did she take off with an extremely wealthy man who has paid for her to alter her appearance? I don’t think so. She would have probably had to take a job at some point and be recognized by someone. There would be some type of tip called in by someone recognizing her and a police followup.
She was most likely murdered and her body hidden where Drew hoped it would not surface.
I hope the remains they’ve recently discovered are hers. And the D.P. faces additional charges for her murder.

Would Stacy take off with very little cash and just a passport? And no other article of clothing for changing. It makes absolutely no sense. Would she just take off and leave her only two children behind? That doesn’t sound right at all. Drew had married Stacy when she was only 17, than after quickly divoring Catherin Savio. And at the turn of event She ends up dead by a mysterious drowning in the bath tub and it was determined a suicide. Very strange to believe that one. At the same time he and young stacy were much more romantically involved. If Stacy had taken off like he claims. Than how would he know where she went or with whom? It’s very strange that his third wife is dead, And yet Stacy, wife number four is missing and no one knows where she is. Just only him, since she had ran off with someone from her pass. Only times of the Essence will reveal all the lies he’s told, the truth will come down on so hard on him. It’s just a matter of time of when.

I think that I might have met this girl on the train coming back from northbrook back in the 1998? I was working for rank video. This girl I met not for sure if it was her showed me pictures of yellowstone national park and her hiking there with two other gentleman about the same age one white guy and one black man that was alittle older it seemed. She had told me that is where she would like to go for good. That place was beautiful. I dont know if this is relevant or not but I thought I should post it somewhere.

Possible Body In Stacy Peterson Case
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Peterson, an ex-cop who is currently behind bars awaiting trial for the murder of his third wife, told an inmate yesterday how he killed Stacy Peterson, wife number 4.
Our sources say Peterson told the inmate he had an accomplice help him dispose of the body. The inmate then told authorities about his discussion with Peterson, which led them to the alleged accomplice.
We’re told the accomplice informed Will County Sheriff’s officials and prosecutors that the body was buried just outside Peoria, Illinois.
Will County Sheriff’s deputies and prosecutors took the alleged accomplice to Peoria Friday, and the accomplice led them to private hunting grounds.
The owner allowed authorities to enter his property and the accomplice then led them to the site where Stacy’s body was allegedly buried.
The accomplice told authorities the body was stuffed in a metal drum that had been buried underground.
On Friday afternoon, authorities brought police dogs onto the property and we’re told the dogs immediately took them to the place where the witness said the body was buried.
Authorities then put prongs in the soil and hit a mass below ground that could be the drum in question.
State Police are now guarding the property and authorities will begin digging tomorrow morning.

working psychic submits Eby, Indiana will be area Stacy Petersen’s body will be found. Body in Sluice used by now defunct company which manufactured resistors for telephone lines 30-40 yrs. ago. Company had German name (Erlicht). Located along river near RV and camper recreation area in Eby. Name of camp has Eby as part of its name. Sluice ran into nearby river to release buildup of chemicals from Ceramic manufacture. Body will be found within the next 4 wks.

I applaud Stacey’s courage in the face of extreme deadly consequences for coming forth with the information she provided reguarding Kathleen Savio and the incriminating information she provided against Drew Peterson. All the while being simply terrified of the man. If it weren’t for her courage and pressure it applied on the Police Dept, there definity would not have been another investigation into Kathleen’s death. Stacey’s courage will bring Kathleen justice and I hope and pray she will receive the same Justice as her unselfish sacrifice cost her life as well..People must STOP ridiculing Stacey. Sure initially people are young and they make mistakes but my God she did the right thing after making that terrible decision to stay with Drew. And She has paid the highest Price for it. Lets pray she is found and returned to her loved ones and receives a proper burial. Again she should be admired for her courage..
As far as Drew Peterson.. he is only a small pompous, pitiful thing that resembles a human but is far from it. He has no feelings for others and lives only to fulfill his needs wants and desires and cares nothing for no one and probably fears no one.
There is one whom he should really fear big time;
