www.FindYourCrush.org is one of those annoying ringtones offer websites that try to trick you into thinking you’ll “find your crush” by answering three questions.

Designed to look like an interactive web game, findyourcrush.org really has just one purpose – to get you to enter your cell phone number. Here’s a screenshot of the Find Your Crush website:

At first glance, it seems pretty innocuous. Find Your Crush tries to lull you into taking the first step by offering only one choice – enter your name or leave.

Notice the little ringtones offer message above page two:
Find Your Crush - enter your astrology sign
It says “Bonus ringtone and flirting tips sent to your cell for only $9.99 a month.”

The third page is where you can easily be fooled:

You can’t see who has a crush on you without entering your cell phone number and agreeing to the Terms Of Service.

Here’s what the Terms of Service say:

“I would like to participate in the Your Crush SMS Service. This service is subject to the Your Crush Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and requires a handset which supports SMS messages or download of ringtones and also has an active data service plan. The Your Crush Service is billed to your cellular bill at a rate of $9.99 per month.”

So, basically www.FindYourCrush.org is just another ringtones scam website that uses spammy promotional methods. They try to trick unsuspecting people into getting billed $9.99 each month for a single ringtone they really never wanted in the first place.

The Find Your Crush website doesn’t show up in the search engines because it’s served up through an iframe window. That way, the website’s owners can remain anonymous from spam complaints and avoid dealing with angry “customers.”

Bottom line: The service is way overpriced and it’s just a ringtones scam.

And that’s the real deal about www.FindYourCrush.org
