Jackson 5 Reunion 2008 – The Jackson 5 will do an international reunion tour in 2008 with Michael Jackson, according to his brother Jermaine and a prominent concert promoter.

Rumours about a possible Jackson 5 reunion have been circulating for some time, with longtime Jackson promoter Leonard Rowe recently saying that that live dates were being planned in 2008.

Now, Jermaine Jackson has given the clearest indication yet that the Jackson 5 comeback tour is on and will take place next year, featuring their most famous member, Michael Jackson.
Here’s what Jermaine told the BBC about a Jackson 5 reunion tour:
“Michael will be involved. We want to tour. We want to touch the lives of everybody who’s bought our records and supported us.
“It will probably start here first, but it will be sometime in 2008. That’s our plan.”
Discussing Michael’s acquittal on child sex offences in 2005, Jermaine said the five members are now “stronger than ever” and “owe” the fans who have supported them through thick and thin.
The Jackson family includes many notable musicians:

The last album from the Jackson 5 – Michael, Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie – was the underwhelming “2300 Jackson Street” released in 1989.
Here is a look at some great Jackson 5 performances in previous reunion concerts, plus an orginal Jackson 5 video from the Sixties when Michael was age 9.

Michael will truly be missed. His passing was like closing a door in our lives that we really didn’t want to close. We grew up with his music and it was a part of our lives. He was a kind soul that alot of people misunderstood. Rest in peace “king of pop”. Prayers for his family.
