There is counter-evidence that many scientist choose to ignore. Carbon-dating, which is at the base of creating a timeline, has already been proven to be inaccurate. Only God knows the truth in all of it.
Where do you put your faith?
In man-who has proven human error a million times over and scientist who believe we came into existence just by chance
or
God all knowing, powerful and the only one intellegent enough to get creation right by his design in his image.

@andrew: Your response to Elliott is circular, and sure to only encourage creationists view of scientists.

It's not possible to find human and dinosaur remains in the same layer because they existed at different time periods. How do we know they existed at different time periods? Among other reasons, because they aren't found in the same layers.

You can't use even the best of theories to rule out the possibility of contradictory evidence. A better response would be that a few anomalies wouldn't prove anything. It would take considerable counter-evidence for scientists to seriously reconsider the age of the Earth and the evolutionary timeline.

Hi Elliott. Unfortunately it is not possible to find human remains in the same layers, because dinosaurs died 65 m.y. ago with a catastrophic event (eiter a meteorite in Yucatan, or a huge volcanic eruption over India when the Deccan was travelling above La Reunion volcano in the southern hemispehre). Human beings are supposed been born much more later. As a matter of fact an encounter betwen dinosaurs and humans is purely science fiction...
Sorry to reply one year later to your message, but I discovered it just today!

I'm not sure why they show Dakota and other dinosaurs standing with bent legs. Elephants and other large animals stand with legs straight - it's a much more efficient way to support their weight. Running is a different story, but a grazing animal will stand and walk slowly while eating most of the time. Running consumes valuable energy. The large tail really looks more useful for swimming, so maybe this beast lived in marshes and on shorelines. Fish in the belly supports this. Hopefully they examined the bone structure - stress lines should show the direction of weight support.

This dinosaur has been found with various things such as skin, muscles. The way dinosaurs which have pieced together bone by bone depicts them in the wrong way. Between bones there are joints some of which are cartlilage around the bones are muscles then there is skin. I can't imagine a T-Rex running relying on its bone structure, it will have muscles perhaps they were many times more powerful than that of Dakota and could run faster. So little is known about dinosaurs. T-Rex will have to strong jaw muscles to crush its prey, without those jaw muscles the T-Rex would not be able to eat anything.
We have the unique example of the shark, which grows thousands of teeth. I do not think such an evidence has been found in dinosaurs as yet. We do not know blood circulation their heart and lungs. Dakota can only give us some clues as to what dinosaurs were like. Not enough is known about the other dinosaurs.

I just came from the ND State Heritage Center where work is yet being done on Dakota. A portion is on disply along with a one deminsional model...confirmation that Dakota truly is very large. Although the display is in process, it is worth viewing. I believe that this fall there will be more on display and I understand that National Geographic is doing another article. In visiting with some of the staff I did learn that a large fish was found in Dakota's stomach.

Awesome!! I remember being a little girl in the back yard hoping to come across dinosaur fossils or any other kind of historic artifact!! That little girl still lives in me!! I hope to hear more about Dakota!! It would be an opportunity of a life time to be apart of the research team!!

I hope to hear more about this kind of discoveries. I will help scientists to show humans how those great animal were. I'm from Venezuela. I'm so interested in these kind of researchs.

I have collected documented mosaics, cave paintings, bronze seals etc. of dinosaurs made by the ancient man here:
http://www.helsinki.fi/~pjojala/dinosaur.htm

Dinoglyfs and dinolits from the antiquities they are, really.

Such fresh fossil samples indicate that the geologic time scales are naiiive. Here's another news along the lines:

I wonder how many more mummified remains they'll find in that area. Wouldn't it be a wonderful shock to the scientific community if they found human remains in the same layers too? ;)
