PETA Nude Protest – Pics of the colorfully painted nude protestors from PETA picketing the M&M’s building in Times Square in protest against animal product testing.

PETA members protest outside the M&M’s World Store in New York:

Members of the organization “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” also known as PETA stage a “nude” protest in front of the M&M’s World Headquarters in New York’s Time Square on December 20, 2007 in New York City.

PETA members are painted from head to toe in the various colors depicted by the M&M’s candies. M&M’s is a brand owned by the Mars Candy Corporation who, according to PETA is funding animal testing and research in order to improve their products.
The five young ladies attracted a crowd with their colorful outfits
Temperatures were a might nippy for the colorful protestors:

And that’s our minimalistic coverage of the PETA nude protest against M&Ms.

Nudity is God’s gift to us.
If God had meant us not to be naked, he would have given us body hair like he gave monkeys or cats.
wow, no surprising, It it notnormal. Nude photos are nice and natural. Do not regards as the strange. Nudism is respected and you will feel so comfortable with nudists, They are natural and pure.

Hi thanks for the pixs. I never seem to be quite up-to-date with what Mars is up to. What was Mars’ reaction?

Wow! Nice looking women, standing up for a good cause. They sure got my attention.

PETA stands for People Exterminating Terrified Animals. They kill 99% of every pet and animal found, stolen, then euthanized, and thrown into their PETA walk-in freezer for the dead. Now they seek perverts to get naked for PETA? What skanks!

Mars’ Heartless Animal Experiments
Not one of Mars’ experiments on animals is required by law. Even so, Mars has paid experimenters to kill untold numbers of animals in tests:
* Mars is currently funding an experiment on rats at the University of California, San Francisco, to determine the effect of chocolate ingredients on the animals’ blood vessels, even though the experimenter admits that studies have already been done using humans. Experimenters force-feed the rats by shoving plastic tubes down their throats and then cut open the rats’ legs to expose an artery, which is clamped shut to block blood flow. After the experiment, the animals are killed.
* Mars funded a deadly experiment on mice that was published in a 2007 issue of the Journal of Neuroscience in which mice were fed flavanols (phytochemicals that are found in chocolate) and forced to swim in a pool of water mixed with white paint to hide a submerged platform, which the mice had to find in order to avoid drowning, only to be killed and dissected later on.
* In one experiment supported by Mars and conducted by the current Mars, Inc., endowed chair in developmental nutrition at the University of California, Davis, rats were fed cocoa and anesthesized with carbon dioxide so that blood could be collected by a needle injected directly into the heart—a procedure criticized by U.S. Department of Agriculture researcher Dr. William T. Golde, who notes: “This is not a simple method. … Missing the heart or passing the needle completely through the heart could lead to undetected internal bleeding or other complications.”
* Mars supported a cruel experiment to learn how a chocolate ingredient called PQQ affects metabolism by cramming baby mice into 200-milliliter Plexiglas metabolic chambers—around half the size of a 12-ounce soda can—and then submerging the chamber for nearly five hours in a chilled water bath, inducing labored breathing in the distressed mice. Experimenters then shoved tubes down the mice’s throats every day for 10 days to force-feed them the PQQ, after which they were killed and cut up for analysis.
* Mars funded a test in which experimenters forced rabbits to eat a high-cholesterol diet with varying amounts of cocoa, then cut out and examined tissue from the rabbits’ primary blood vessel to the heart to determine the effect of cocoa on rabbits’ muscle tissue.
* Mars supported a test in which experimenters attached plastic tubes to arteries in guinea pigs’ necks and injected cocoa ingredients into their jugular veins to examine the effect of cocoa ingredients on their blood pressure.

I do not mind the protest but why can’t we put that same energy for kids rights?
January 18th, 2008 at 2:43 am
I just sall this on the news and it happend in Dec. Are they still out their protesting. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. But ok I can live without candy for this cause. I mean americans are to overweight anyways including me. So this give me a good cause to stop eating candy even if it’s not Mars. I say way to go to the protesters they got everyone to know what Mars was doing even if it was in the best way eveyone looked.

Kudos to Mars! I have always tried to “build a better mousetrap” but have to settle for luring those rodents with peanut butter and hoping the trap snaps their neck the first time. I hate having to step on an injured mouse trying to drag around that little wooden trap.
Anyway – at least the Mars Researches can maybe learn something from these rodents before they are dissected.
On a side note – I always find it interesting that most of the wacky people who support PETA have a hard time with grammar and spelling. Maybe they are trying to teach rodents how to read and write?
I agree with the poster who said, “I like peanut M&M’s, even if there is some panther in them”!!!

Maybe we should start testing on these people’s children instead of some nasty lab rats?

I agree with Maggie’s comment about nudism. Maggie, I’m a nudist and I believe that nude is not lewd. I’ve researched a lot of websites about it, even though I was brought up in the old “textile” environment. Nobody else in my family is a nudist, but I don’t know how to convince them the benefits about being nude when they think that nudity equals sex. Ughh!
February 14th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
My family’s very uptight about nudity. A few support me being a nudist, but even they say nudity is not for them. They don’t mind me being naked, but they don’t want to be naked. Strange how prude many people in this country can be that they insist that anything that is nude is somehow asking to be raped or sexually abused in some way. And, to those who do these horrible things to others, they’ll do them whether the victims are naked or not. Clothes do not matter to rapists. Being naturally nude doesn’t increase your chances of being raped. And, at most nudist places, anyone caught trying to take advantage of a nude person will be asked to leave and never return to such a place. You’re actually more likely to be raped at regular places since they’re not as strict as nudist places.

Why would any body protest nude…. Are they trying to sell their flesh or trying to tell the people about the company bad attitude towards animals. Why do not they practice best method to say few good things rather they stand out nude which will attract indisent crowd and hatered massages accross the world. They should be morale for the society…………….not sex sellers or whatsoever!!!

Not exactly nude. They are wearing bottoms.
They are topless. Not nude.

There`s nothing wrong on nudity it is one of the expression that draws much attention to the very important issue yet no one on the high government ever looked upon…. Nudity draws actions to the ill society not worsens it…
July 10th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
To Widwan: screw our society! It has brainwashed people to believe anything naked has to be sexual. If it wasn’t for our sick screwed society, we’d all be nudists and there’d be no such thing as porn that has unfortunately become so widespread, even I can’t get away from it…and I’m the nudist! Why are porn, prostitution, and sex clubs okay for our so-called “High Soceity”, but simple nudity gets treated like it’s the plague?
