Miss France Pictures – Valerie Begue, the newly-crowned Miss France 2008 seen in the scandalous pictures below, gets to keep her title but won’t compete in the Miss Universe pageant after photos of her suggestively lapping yogurt, reclining on a crucifix in a bikini, and other near-nude pics surfaced.

The Miss France pictures scandal almost cost Valerie Begue her sash and crown after the racy photographs were published in the French magazine, Entrevue.

Organisers of the beauty pageant took exception to undisclosed Miss France pictures of bikini-clad Valerie Begue floating on a crucifix in a swimming pool and lapping yogurt from a bowl in a sexually suggestive manner.

The scandalous Miss France pictures were part of an ad campaign that Miss France 2008 shot three years ago while a university student.

Pageant officials were upset that Miss France had not disclosed the photos existence as required by contest rules.

Miss Begue said the ad campaign photos were a youthful indiscretion and added that she felt “betrayed” by whoever had sold the pictures to Entrevue magazine.

Valerie hails from tiny Reunion Island, all of which is in an uproar over her almost being forced out as Miss France in the photo scandal.
