Britney Spears Hospitalized – Pictures and video of drama queeen Britney Spears drug abuse meltdown and being hospitalized after the troubled pop star refused to return her children after a scheduled custody visit ended.
The whole Britney Spears hospitalized drama happened the same day she finally gave her deposition to K-Fed’s lawyers in their ongoing custody battle after failing to appear twice before. Of course, Britney only stayed 14 minutes and refused to answer questions before storming out in a huff.
Precription drug abuse is blamed for Britney’s hospital commitment as a “special needs” patient which according to Cedars-Sinai hospital reps means “someone who has either overdosed or tried to commit suicide” and needs to be monitored every minute.
Britney previously got so whacked out on Xanax before the MTV awards show this year that she could barely walk, let alone lipsync.
This time, a 911 call from K-Fed’s bodyguard over Britney’s bizarre behavior and refusal to release her children for a scheduled pickup led to two ambulances, multiple fire trucks, and a police helicopter being sent to Spears Los Angeles home.
According to an LAPD spokesperson, “While officers were on the scene, they observed Ms. Spears under the influence of an unknown substance,” says LAPD officer Jason Lee.
“She is now being taken in for an evaluation, more than likely to a hospital. There were no reported injuries to anyone involved including the children.”

After being released from Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Spears is reportedly headed for the Harmony Foundation rehab facility in Denver, a “private, non-profit corporation specializing in the treatment of chemical dependency” which she visited just two days before being hospitalized last night.

(Reuters) Police spent about four hours at her house trying to mediate a custody dispute, according to witnesses.
Britney was escorted from her hilltop home overlooking Beverly Hills in one of three ambulances that was part of a convoy of nine police vehicles and a handful of other cars.

Anybody else would have been tasered by the first cop on the scene, handcuffed and thrown in jail…

Britney loses all custody rights
Britney Spears is spending a second day in Cedar-Sinai Hospital Saturday, the result of a bizarre standoff that brought police to her house and led a judge to award ex-husband Kevin Federline custody of their two sons.
A court commissioner on Friday gave Federline sole physical and legal custody of 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, and suspended Spears’ visitation rights.
