Henry Hager To Wed Jenna Bush – The White House has confrimed that First Daughter Jenna Bush is set to wed Henry Hager on May 10 at the Bush family ranch in Crawford, Texas.
The long-engaged couple – they began dating in 2004 and became a couple in 2005 – announced that former White House aide Henry Hager would wed Jenna Bush in a ceremony uniting their two traditional Republican families.
Henry, who met Jenna while working as an aide to political strategist Karl Rove, is a 29-year old graduate of Wake Forest University and the son of John Hager, a tobacco industry executive.
Henry proposed to Jenna with his great-grandmother’s ring, surprising her at sunrise while the two were in Acadia National Park.
Jenna said she was shocked: “‘I acted the complete opposite of how I thought I would: I was quiet.
He said, ‘Are you exited?’
I was like, ‘I don’t know!’
The two lovebirds will be married right after Henry completes his MBA work at Darden.
