”There’s no way that we’re going to be able to conduct an investigation and track these images down to all the the conceivable places they’ve been sent,” he said. ”Nobody in law enforcement has those resources.”

On Wednesday, Martin said the images included ones of a naked girl and of another girl engaged in a sex act with a boy.

Then on Thursday, Martin said he’d been ”misinformed” of some of the facts, and that there are really images of four people — a girl and a boy engaged in a sex act, and separate images of two girls by themselves.

Martin said officials are still trying to identify the boy and girl and don’t know if they are Parkland High School students. He believes the photo of them was taken from a video. He said he was not certain if the girl shown having sex ”knew at the time the act was being performed that she was being photographed.”

The two girls in separate images have been identified as Parkland students, one 14, the other 17. They took explicit photos of themselves, Martin said, and were at least partly responsible for the images getting out, although they might not have wanted them distributed so widely.

Martin said he’s not planning to file porn charges against either of them.

”I think that they’ve both been embarrassed. They’ve both, I think, learned a lesson,” he said. ”All these people probably could be charged, but we’ve got to use some discretion and some common sense.”

”I have the pics and all of Allen High School Has them to,” one Facebook user, who’s listed on the site as a student at the Allentown school, wrote on Dec. 5.

None of the sexual images is posted in the group’s Facebook section…
