Camp Rock movie starring the Jonas Brothers that debuts on Disney Channel in June 2008 is a rock musical about a summer camp for aspiring musicians where a poor girl dreams of stardom, but can only afford to work in the kitchen.
Think of “Camp Rock” as Cinderella meets High School Musical and you’ll recognize the plot twists in this thoroughly enjoyable Disney movie.
Teen hearthrob Joe Jonas stars as Shane Gray, lead singer of the hit rock band “Connect 3″ who, along with brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas, are celebrity counselors at the rock camp.
The “Cinderella” role of Mitchie Torrez – the poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks who can’t afford to go to Camp Rock, so she takes a job there as a dishwasher – is played by Demi Lovato.
When the poor, but lovely dishwasher Mitchie Torrez is overheard singing by rock star Shane Gray, he falls in love with her voice, but doesn’t know what she looks like.
Enchanted, Shane sets out to find out the identity of the Cinderella songbird.
Comic and romantic hijinks ensue with lots of great musical numbers from Connect 3 (the Jonas Brothers) and the Camp Rock students.
Meaghan Jette Martin, pictured above, plays competing love interest Tess Tyler and Alyson Stoner, pictured below, is Caitlyn.
Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, picured below with Demi Lovato, plays Ella and Jasmine Richards is Peggy.
Kevin Jonas plays Jason and Nick Jonas stars as Nate, the youngest member of Connect 3, appearing in several song & dance numbers with the campers.
And yes, Demi Lovato does get to kiss Joe Jonas, so eat your heart out girls because that is an even hotter matchup than Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in High School Musical.

Jonas Brothers Ink European Distribution Deal & Tour
Universal Music Group has struck a deal with Disney Music Group’s Hollywood Records to license the Jonas Brothers’ self-titled album for Europe.
“Jonas Brothers” will be released in Europe by Polydor Records in June, preceded by the first single, “S.O.S,” in late May.
“This band is one of our key priorities for Europe,” comments Max Hole, executive VP, Universal Music Group International in a statement, “and we are keen on creating the same phenomenon in the region that has taken hold in the U.S.”
UMG also has distribution rights for “Jonas Brothers” in Canada and Latin America.
The loser in this deal is EMI Music, which missed the chance to extend on its current international distribution deal for the album. “Someone within the old (EMI) management chose not to pick up the option,” says an EMI source. “I don’t know why they wouldn’t.”
Earlier in the year, the teen pop band, whose album is certified platinum in the United States, signed a two-year, multi-million-dollar worldwide touring deal with Live Nation.
The Jonas Brothers will appear as special guests on Avril Lavigne’s European tour, kicking off May 26 at Glasgow’s Carling Academy.

Camp Rock TV Broadcast Premiere Dates
The Disney Channel movie “Camp Rock” starring the Jonas Brothers will premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, June 20.
Camp Rock will then re- air the next night on network TV on ABC under the Wonderful World of Disney imprint at 8:00 pm ET / PT on Saturday, June 21.
And then the Jonas Brothers first movie will air on the ABC Family channel at 8:00 pm ET / PT on Sunday, June 22.

Camp Rock turned out to be an absolutely amazing movie! Jonas Brothers can do absolutely anything! Act, sing, dance, the lot! All of the cast made an amazing movie and I can’t wait for Camp Rock 2 to come out.
btw, the picture that says it’s Anna Maria Perez De Tagle with Demi Lovato isn’t Anna. It’s actually Demi Lovato’s older sister Dallas Lovato who is also quite a famous singer, but she’s not on Disney Channel

camp rok e demais eu assisto na sky so que nao ssisto todo porque meu pai toma o controlho da sky e na minha outra casa e do mesmo jeito meu irma e a minha mae toma o controlho de mim minha mae eunice tem 27 anos e a outra mae tem 47 que a nucima meu irmo tem 17 meu pai tem 50 e eu tenho 7 eu vou fazer aniversario 30 de mail
