www.uploadthumbnails.com is yet another MySpace ringtones scam from the same group of scammers that have been getting rich off tricking MySpace users into accidentally signing up for ringtones offers for more than a year now.

Source code from www.uploadthumbnails.com

The first thing that you see at the UploadThumbnails website is a login screen asking for your email address and password to access the pics of you uploaded by “a friend”.

Initial friendly message after you login

The minute you login, you’re at risk of having your MySpace profile deleted because these spammers use an automated script to login as you at MySpace (many people use the same email-password combo everywhere).

Next, using your MySpace account they send fake bulletins to your entire friends list asking “Is this u and ur ex on uploadthumbnails.com?” Their script even pulls pics from your own profile to make it all seem real.

The whole thing is a self perpetuating ringtones scam and MySpace will delete the accounts of people who abuse their system, which unfortunately is now you.

BestUnbeatbleOffer.com ringtones scam

The website that serves up all the ringtones scam offers through dozens of “fake front” websites is BestUnbeatableOffer.com and you can see their same MySpace ringtones spam script in action at “www.bestunbeatableoffer.com/captcha-group-routine/pre-entry.html

GroovinTones.com affiliate link for UploadThumbnails.com

Here is their affiliate code for the ringtones offer from a company called GroovinTones.com where their affiliate ID is #7266.

At the bottom of this post are links to a dozen other ringtones scam websites these scammers have used to do the exact same thing as UploadThumbnails.com.

It’s time to put these ringtones scammers out of business, so send a complaint to MySpace and give them a link to this post.

How to report these ringtones scammers to MySpace

Login at MySpace and go to http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=misc.contact, then select “Report Abuse” and “Spammers”, hit “Submit”, then select “No, Email Customer Service”. That will give you the form you need to complain about these stupid ringtones spam offers.

And that’s why you should avoid uploadthumbnails.com.
