I heard that they split up!!! aparently she was to much of a party girl for his expectations. I hope this is just a gossip and that is far far from the truth! i love Shane she’s so adorable and him well, he’s just a sweety… i hope they are still together and if they aren’t i hope is for their best interest and for their own happiness.

It seems funny to me that so many people think that because one’s profession is acting, that they are not real humans when they are not working.

People seem to think that actors/actresses are not real people, and thus, cannot experience real emotions like falling in love.

People seem to think that actors do not deserve to be married and have a family–because they are probably just “ACTING” like they are real humans who need love and a family.

Get real, please. Actors are people too. They want to have a live off the set. They want to fall in love, get married, and have children just like “real” people!

Just because Shayne is an actress by profession does not mean that she does not want to find love and happiness in a man.

If people want to accuse Shayne of “faking” and “acting” on “The Bachelor,” then you should accuse all the other girls of the same thing.

I was rooting for them all the way, I think she is as cute as a button and very sincere in who she is. Matt has all the qualities that every woman would love to have in a man. Yes I think they do make a very wonderful couple.
I never saw any acting in any of the shows. She is a very genuine person.

I am positive that marriage will not take place , because she is too young to know what she wants and I don’t think she is ready for marriage. Matt is a fool., He couldn’t resist fame and fortune. This relationship is not going to work, no way. This young woman was playing a game and she won. I bet her career is most important.

I was so worried that Shane might get her heart broken; but Matt proved to be smart as well as handsome. Loved the way he took up for Shane when Chelsea said she was fake. I chose Shane from the very beginning – no contest, the camera loves her no matter from which angle she is photographed.

I have NEVER watched the bachelor before, but was hold up in a hotel the night of the first episode. I thought it was hokey, but decided to give a few night’s sampling and got hooked! Sure, Shane seemed a bit ditzy at first, but after time, she really seemed to have a street smart sense that may have come from the instablitly of her parents’ multiple marriages. But even with that background, her mother impressed me with her sincerity. Despite the Hollywood background, I was surprised at the lack of “falseness” of the whole bunch. A lot different than I expected. I, too, cried at the proposal. I think the two of them will have soooo much fun as a couple and I truly hope to hear nothing but good things about them!
Matt and Shane, if you are ever in Indianpolis, I would be thrilled to have you over for dinner!

Shane and Matt, I feel exactly like the comments that Marci #4 made. I cried when Matt proposed to Shane. I saw something special in her right away and was hoping she would be the one. She is so sincere and I do believe she will give the relationship her very all. I hope Matt will do the same, my gut feeling is he will. I look forward to hearing how the relationship blossoms with time. I think Shane will loved to be a Mom and give her children the stability she feels they deserve from a mother and a father. She may be high maintenance, but she will be worth it. Way to go Matt, you have good taste. Shayne and Matt , I am over the moon happy for the both of you. For once, this show turned out the way I’d hope it would. Matt, you’ve picked a sweet, loving and giving and so very open young girl. Now Love her to bits and pieces. The perfect couple. About two weeks ago, in a commercial glimpse of the final show, I knew it was Shayne’s little hand. I wish you both all the joy life can bring full of love,laughter and beautiful babies. I still can see or rather remember pictures of Shayne in magazines as a Toddler, beautiful then as now.
