American Idol Predictions 4-01-08: Predictions for American Idol voted off fromSeason 7 Top 9 show performances last night – Find out which contestant is going home and which contestants are in the bottom three.
Best American Idol Performance on 4-01-08

Carly Smithson and David Cook were the two top performers on last night’s show.
American Idol Predictions 4-01-08 – Guys
In Danger: Jason Castro
Jason is coming across as a bit flippant the last few weeks. Hopefully, on the “Idol Gives Back” show, he’ll get back into the groove because on Idol, having a bad attitude will costs you votes bigtime.
Best Performances This Week: Michael Johns, David Cook

The Aussie rocker has become a contender again because his performances are getting better every week. Michael Johns did a nice bluesy version of “It’s All Wrong, But It’s All Right” and wowed the judges.
David Cook did his usual awesome job, showing a nice falsetto range on “Little Sparrow” but suffered from heart palpitations (too much caffeine?) after the show and was rushed to the emergency room for a quick checkup. Doctors are saying it’s just too much stress.
Jason Castro has apparently peaked already and once again faces being in the bottom three.
The rest of the guys did a pretty good job this week and David Cook and David Archuleta have solid fan bases supporting them with heavy voting each week. Look for these two guys to make the Top 5.

American Idol Favorites – Guys: David Archuleta has massive support from the all-important voting block of teenage girls. David Cook has the Daughtry vibe and while he probably won’t win, he will have a successful debut album just like Chris Daughtry.
American Idol Predictions 4-01-08 – Girls
In Danger: Ramiele Malubay, Kristy Lee Cook
Ramiele is always pretty awful compared to the other Idol contestants and is definitely the one most likely to be voted off. I have no idea how Ramiele avoided being in the bottom three last week.
Kristy Lee Cook had some bad attitude vibes for Simon and showing any kind of negative attitude on Idol is a sure way to cost yourself votes.
Best Performances This Week: Syesha Mercado, Carly Smithson
Props to Syesha for attempting “I Will Always Love You” when no one can ever top Whitney Houston’s classic version. Syesha’s arrangement played to her strengths and inspired the audience on an otherwise boring night.
Carly Smithson showed her pipes on ”Here You Come Again” and clearly has the best vocal range of any of the contestants. However, her tattoos and strange clothing choices detract from her obvious talent.

American Idol Favorites – Girls: Brooke White is very consistent and does a great job every week, except for last night. Carly Smithson has the pipes, but her visual appeal is low due to that horrific tattoo. Brooke and Carly will make the Top 5.
American Idol Predictions – Bottom Three for 4-01-08
Well, i was spot on with my prediction of Amanda Overmeyer voted off American Idol last week. So, who is voted off American Idol among the Top 10 contestants?
After this week’s round of Dolly Parton songs which made the show the most boring of Season 7, these three contestants are in the bottom 3:
- Ramiele Mulabay
- Jason Castro
- Kristy Lee Cook
Jason will escape once again, leaving boring Ramiele Malubay and the always wooden Kristy Lee Cook returns to the bottom two where she’s already been four times this season. How many times can Kristy dodge the voted off bullet?
This American Idol voted off matchup is almost too close to call…

Voted Off: Ramiele Malubay
And those are my American Idol Predictions 4-01-08.

Got that one right last night when Ramiele finally got voted off Idol.
Funny though that I had Brooke in the bottom three last week and Jason Castro there this week…
Kristy Lee Cook is probably next to get voted off as she’s been in the bottom three now five times.
