FunnyAds.com is yet another site trying to trick people into thinking they are a content site like VeryFunnyAds.com. Well, funnyads they’re not and even worse, they’ve been using fake MySpace bulletins to promote funnyads.com to unsuspecting users.

The website hasn’t been on the web radar at all and all of a sudden, there’s thousands of people looking for what’s going on. Here are some screenshots of funnyads.com to show you what’s going on:

The clown is the only thing that’s funny because the real purpose of this site is to trick you into clicking on ads disguised as lists of funny advertisements, funny commercials, videos, etc.

Here’s what the results pages look like:

Many people that visit the funnyads.com site will click on one of the results, only to find themselves on a non-funny site. They land on a legitimate business that’s paying good money to promote their site and attract visitors. Instead, they’re getting ripped off by these guys just like you are!

Here’s a link to an article on Domain Industry News from October 2006 talking about how someone paid $100,000 to buy this domain name. You only spend that kind of money on a name if you think you can make easy money with the website. Unfortunately, these guys took the low road of click fraud and not the high road of real content.

So, now you know what’s going on with this site. It’s nothing but a big click fraud scam. For high quality entertainment of this type, go to VeryFunnyAds.com.

Don’t go to the pathetic ripoff that’s trying to scam you into clicking on a paid search result. Avoid the fakers at the funnyads.com website.
