Gothic Kittens – Pics and video of the pierced gothic kittens that were being sold on eBay before Pennsylvania police arrested a woman on animal cruelty charges.
The pierced kittens were listed on the eBay website under the title “pure black, tailless, pierced, gothic kitten” which featured a photo of a kitten with multiple piercings dubbed Snarley Monster.
Snarley Monster, the goth kitten pictured here, is shockingly described as “a three-month-old, floppy-eared, loveable kitten with a docked tail” in the advertisement.
The animal is pictured on the site with two 14-gauge ear piercings and a “submission ring” through the back of its neck.
The owner asked for offers over $400 for the kitten, the jewellery and a silk submission lead to clip onto the neck ring.
“This is a first,” said animal control officer Carol Morrison after the woman’s house was raided and the kittens seized. “It’s unbelievable anybody would do this to kittens.”
Morrison said the investigation began about a week ago when a man from another state noticed “gothic kittens” being sold on eBay. The kittens were also being sold on a pet classified Web site with an attached picture of a pierced kitten.
“She (the homeowner) thought it was a great idea (to pierce kittens),” Morrison said.
Morrison said charges are likely to be filed against the homeowner.
And that’s the latest news on the eBay sale of pierced gothic kittens.

Let’s see….
1) The ears would not be floppy if they did not have huge barbells in them.
2) She is an idiot. Even comparing this to piercing a baby’s ears. Except that even in those cases they use tiny earrings not huge bar bells. Not to mention the neck ring……
3)Docking a kittens tail is cruel.
4) she needs to be kept away from animals and needs to be checked for mental illness.
