Say what you want about the man and his skills, but known that the sport would be waaaaay less fun without him. I am not even a Cinci fan, but I watch the games mostly because of 85. We need more personality in the league, not less.

Man I respect you so much you are my idol in football. When I’m on the field I think about what you do to people on the field and that gives me confidence. I haven’t receive a letter from college but with the confidence and strive and of course GOD they will be all on me.

CJ, i watched your interview today. its sad that your unhappy and the bengals didn’t back you up this season. one player doesn’t make the team lose. you win as a team and you lose as a team. i been a bengals fan since the early 80’s and it would be sad to see the best receiver that the bengals ever had leave because of everyone is blaming you for the bad season but you have to do what makes you happy. if you are not happy then its time to move on. your my favorite player and i hope you stay but if you don’t good luck.

I am in the military and have been for 16+ years. Sometimes the only connection I have with Cincinnati is football and watching you play has been one of the great pleasures over the last few years. I hope you stick around because the criticism isn’t aimed at you…its dissapointment that a team that should be great hasn’t been performing that way. If you weren’t the best player on the team, you wouldn’t be the target.
Anyone who thinks this team would somehow be better with a trade would feel alot different if it actually happened. I’d love to see you play for the Bengals for your entire career and be the next Bengal to make the Hall of Fame and I hope I get to see it happen.

85, the one thing that really irritates me watching sports, which I’ve done since I was a little boy, is seeing someone seem like they’re not happy with the organization when they are losing, but can’t find a better place when they’re winning. Being a lifetime Bengal fan I’m used to seeing losing seasons, but the last couple of years gave me hope. A game here or there last year, who knows what could have happened. I beg you to finish what you started with Carson and T.J., and do what you do best, dance, entertain, and score. Don’t ask for a trade, demand some defense, big name defense, and shut up all the media. Hey, they love you when the BENGALS win, blame YOU when the BENGALS lose. Just be 85!

hey i wish CJ would actually read this page but the chances are slim. i know i love talkin smack to the guys in my unit (i’m in the USMC) because of the way CJ, Carson, and You (CJ) play. not just you but the rest of the team. i REALLY would like to see you play this season and continue to see “who can stop 85″ because i have wached CJ beat leon hall, i have seen him burn champ bailey, what i havn’t seen him do is take critisism well.

hey chad these people dont understand what its like to be in the pros. its hard and the more a receiver the more u talk trash u will get noticed by DB’s and they going to try and headhunt u but i like them celebrations i think a triple threat QB like vince young or like micheal vick would be good

I’ve liked you and mostly enjoyed your trash-talk, you always had a good spirit about it, until last year. Last year you lost me cause you crossed a line (or two) in my mind.
