The Shaq divorce news is true. Shaquille O’Neal and his wife of five years, Shaunie Nelson, filed divorce papers Tuesday in Miami. While there is a prenup, the Shaq divorce isn’t going to be pretty. Seems Shaq is accusing Shaunie of financial shenanigans and hiding significant marital assets.

Shaq, 35, and Shaunie, 32, were wed Dec. 26, 2002, in a lavish wedding ceremony at the ritzy Beverly Hills Hotel. Shaq, then still with the L.A. Lakers, gave Shaunie a wedding ring with a honking 17 carats of diamonds. Here are some wedding photos of Shaq and Shaunie:
Shaq Divorce Details
In Shaq’s divorce filing, he references a ”Cohabitation/Prenuptial Agreement and Acknowledgment of Property Disclosure and Waiver of Further Disclosure.” Basically, the prenup is ironclad, but Shaquille suspects Shaunie of hiding assets going into the divorce.
Shaunie, he says, has been ‘’secretive about her assets . . . particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either name alone or in other entities.” Shaq wants the court to order Shaunie to give a ”correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities (including bearer securities)” that she came into during the marriage.
As we all know, bearer bonds are as good as cash, but infinitely more discreet and highly portable. Looks like this one will get ugly over the money issues. Shaq is currently paid $20 million a year by the Miami Heat with two more years on his contract. He also has extensive business and real estate holdings in both his name and others held jointly with Shaunie.
Shaquille O’Neal and Shaunie O’Neal have four children together: Shareef, 7, Amirah, 5, Shaqir, 4, and Me’Arah, 1. Shaq also has a daughter, Taahirah, and Shaunie has a son, Myles, from their previous ummarried relationships.
Custody of the children is not being contested in the divorce and Shaq refers to his palatial $18 million estate on Miami’s exclusive Star Island as “the former marital residence,” so it looks like the big guy will be “batching” it for a while.

Shaq divorcing Shaunie O’Neal doesn’t seem right. she had what, 4 kids in under 5 years with Shaquille and now he dumps her?
And so what if she was putting stuff in her own name. When you’re married in Florida, whatever income and assets you accumulate during marriage belong equally to both spouses.
My guess is Shaunie will provide proof Shaq was fooling around on the side and the whole thing will get settled behind closed doors.
Seems a shame Shaq filed for divorce from Shaunie though because they always seemed happy when out in public.

Just look at Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and other big stars. Women throw themselves at these guys and NBA wives are just supposed to look the other way.
Bet Shaunie got tired of it and kept nagging him until finally Shaq filed for divorce. Ain’t no peace when the wife’s always pissed off about you fooling around with other women…

So let me get this straight….Shaq accuses Shaunie of financial mismanagement, but he trusts her with the primary custody of his (4) children??? She’s too shady to be his wife, but she’s okay to parent? If the sole reason he is divorcing her relates to finances, then he will be destitute VERY soon. Seriously, this woman has carried four of his children in her womb and this man who earns his money by being busy (9) months out of the year…not including playoffs and olympic years ..has the AUDACITY to file for divorce, question her motives and suggest she be the primary parent???? Gimme a BREAK!!! She should give primary custody to HIM and award herself “liberal” visitation. She should get a chance to be “gone” now. But she probably wouldn’t do that. Shaunie was smart to put things in her name. I think she loves Shaq, but she realized that one day he would turn into a JERK…and she proved herself right. This woman has been pregnant 4x in the past (7) years. Did Shaq expect her to pursue a career too??? She was supposed to go get a job WHEN??!!! Shaq is trippin. Shaq has been screwin ho’s for years, all through out this “marriage”, and now he files for divorce and accuses his wife of misdeeds. uh seems like she was smart woman to me. she was not working but had enough sense to “save for a rainy day” if you know what i mean. He has been going to strip clubs, dating ho’s (superhead) for years. I am happy that she wised up and for her self esteem and the kids sake can move on. She is a pretty lady and obviously intelligient. Let him figure it out laster on as he repeats the cycle. So let me get this straight; it’s ok if your wife hides assets from him and he. Obviously some of the comments came from people that are not or have never been married. In your marriage you have to have a certain level of trust and even if a husband did that - how could your spouse trust you to have their back because clearly it seems you have your own best interest at hand. As for the children I think that Shaq can trust Shaunie with their kids - it’s like all of you have been saying she had 4x of them so he knows she will provide a good life for them - I haven’t heard anyone saying she wasn’t a good mother. The fact that she seem to be out for self with something that could affect their family is the real reason that Shaq filed for divorce.

I think they made an awesome couple. However I’m surprised at some of the responses. I know Shaq’s had affairs with many women, and I believe his wife knew. That does not give her the right to hide assets from him that she aquired becasue of him. Let’s be honest, if she were not married to him she would not have the things/assets that she has. Her actions do not make up for his infedelity. If she was that unhappy she should have left. Her action were very selfish. Was she planning on leaving him? Was she trying to secure her future?

It’s obvious when Shaunie first got together with Shaq that it was not for money. Both, I’m sure, were in love. And as Shaq became more popular, he shared his love. Kobe made sure we all knew that, right? She took it and stood by his side, kinda like Hillary. We women tend to put up with certain things until we realize, hey, at any day or time this man can up and leave or act the fool. I do agree with saving for a rainy day, any smart woman will and if you don’t, you better start. After everything, all the rumors, the affairs, the lonely nights, the kids, etc….why should she not have some cushion? Even if she has, let’s say 30M stashed, is Shaq really gonna go hungry. Are those not his kids? He just does not want to look like he got played. He seems as though his pride and ego will get the better of him. That’s sad. I am amazed at the above responses that I have seen so far. For Shaq to file for divorce, something terrible had to occur. Nevertheless, it appears that women have asserted that Shaq should have stayed married to her simply because she had his children. In my opinion that is same silly argument that igornant ppl say to justify their position that a woman should stay with a man who beats her for the kids. Its simple, without trust there is no marriage.
To justify this silly assertions, ppl have suggested that Shaq has been unfaithful to her during the marriage. What is the basis for this? Is it simply because he is a NBA player? Its 2007 and WOMEN do cheat on their husbands and boyfriends all the time now. Its 2007 and WOMEN do hide away assets just like men.
I am personally surprised that they r getting a divorce. However, something terrribly wrong must have occurred for Shaq to file for divorce. He has always seemed like a family man and if his wife did hide assets and/or sleep with her personal trainer, Shaq has the right to terminate the marriage just like she would.

My advice is don’t marry in the first place, especially for rich guys. We have to face the reality that women hate us, even when she is spreading her led for you because next thing you know a little devil is going to come out and asking you for child support. i think this is really crazy. i absolutely love shaunie. i love everything about her. i dont think i can deal with the fact that she will now be dating and on the market. this is going to cause for a bunch of wack leeches to try to ask her out. i cant even imagine who shell end up with next. but as for shaq, hey if she gave him reason to feel like he cant trust her then thats enuff right there. otherwise he wouldnt have had a prenup in the beginning. he has to do what he has to do. but if it were me, there would be no pre nup, shes so gorgeous. she can have all of what i got, and half of what i aint got yet. shaunie, will you marry me?

I just hope that the kids are 1st & foremost taken care of. They always seemed like a happy couple from what I saw, but then again who know what goes on behind closed doors & when the cameras are off. All I have to say is that in a marraige there are no secrets. Yes it’s heard of that the wife has a seperate savings “rainy day fund” but the husband should too. She is apppearently being smart and realized that he could leave her at any moment and started preparing for that and there is nothing wrong with that. She has four children by him and that alone should be enough reason to have access to any if not all money. He has been unfaithful to her and still he had her sign a prenuptial agreement?!?!?! Why do people get involved with celebs and then sign the papers? If you love someone enough to marry them then that’s the only papers you should be signing.

I am not shocked by the very bias, and even the most ridiculous posts that I’ve read on here. I’m gonna break some issues down around Shaq divorcing Shaunie and explain why HE definately is wrong!
1) When Shaunie and Shaq got married it was under God. POINT BLANK! When you get married, of course it’s for keeps, and nowhere under God does he permit unscrupulous and childish reasons for divorcing Shaunie at all. So he violated, in my opinion, the most Supreme Law of marriage, he broke the primary force of their happiness and that is–God.
2) God gave Shaq Shaunie, God entrusted Shaq to take care of her, why? Because God knows how women should be treated. Men, especially Black men, love the word “MAN”, they want to be treated as such, and it kills them if you don’t recognize them as such, Shaunie did recognize Shaq as her MAN and she lived her life in her marriage in that God-given role, bearing children, taking care of house making it a home, and submitting to Shaq as a MAN. Now, when Shaq decided he wanted to step out that arrangement and “drink water not from his own cistern” (Cheating) then he went against everything God undeserving kindness in giving him a woman that wanted him and loved him enough to bear the painful brunt of 4 kids when she walked in the marriage with 1 already.
3) I think it is sad for anyone to conclude that Shaunie was acting selfishly. In fact, she was acting Godly. When a man cannot provide or refuses to provide for his own family, he is a ruinous person. Shaunie had to have been smart enough ,observant enough to know that Shaq was at one point and time going to try and walk out on her. Because he actually has no real reason for divorcing her under God’s laws (i’m speaking) she had every right to continue to save money. And anyway in the state of Florida, off of God’s law and into human law, there is no statute about “stealing” from your spouse, when incomes come into the marriage it is both parties, not just one, don’t care about any prenup.
4) I think for a black man, it is sad because it is nothing but the perpetuation of a startling and sickening epidemic: BLACK MEN DON’T WANT TO HAVE FAMILIES WITH BLACK WOMEN. this is a sad reality considering it is always a black woman that stick by you when times seems insurmountable. Black men always want to be concluded as men, then I got something to say:

STOP FIGURING OUT WAYS TO DISHONOR YOURSELF AND YOUR WOMEN BY DIVORCING THEM AND LEAVING THEM!

I have no doubt the children will be taken care of. As a woman I am sick to my stomache at some of the comments made by other women. He cheated so it was ok to take his money? She had his kids so it’s ok to hide his money? WRONG! You do not take someone elses money attain assets and hide them so you don’t have to share. Ladies make your own money!! Did she really hide money, and if so, why did she feel she had to do so? Or did she do it out of greed.
Is that what really lead up to the divorce, or was it just the icing on the cake?

I heard that Shaunie’s allowance was $35,000 a month. If that is true then she should be able to buy whatever she wanted to buy with HER allowance, whether it be diamonds, clothes, shoes or REAL ESTATE. Here is what happen. Shaunie found out that Shaq was having affairs outside of their marriage. So instead of confronting him she did what a smart women would do, she started putting money away. She then did her thang on the side with her trainer. I know one of ther women personally. She said he would spend money on her, and she knoew she was not the only one, but he paid all her bills and kept her in nice clothes. They had sex a couple of times, but nothing serious. he told her he was not leaving his wife.

Shaq and Shaunie are not the first couple to divorce with young children. My parents got a divorce when I was young. There are ten of us. At the time of their divorce, the youngest was 5 and the oldest 18. Things in our household was much better after that. My siblings and I were happier and so was our mom. Children are better off with one parent in the house who give them love, than two parents who fight all the time while showing no love for each other. Plus, my dad was a weekend alcoholic that wanted to fight with my mom after downing about a pint of Cognac.

Sounds like the writer Shay above knows what it means to be a ho, has obviously never been married and doesn’t have kids. Listen to yourself, it’s okay for Shaq to screw around on her because she knew what she was getting into. Then you have the nerve to suggesst that she should make her own money. When she wasn’t busy giving birth and raising their 4 children, she was hitting the gym to keep it tight so her man wouldn’t have a reason to step out on her. It’s exactly this kind of thinking that has the divorce rate plummeting near 50%. You referenced the bible you should know. When you are married you no longer belong to yourself alone, not your body, not your finances, not your time. God takes two people and brings them together to become one. But this marraige wasn’t built on biblical principles for the mere fact that it was prefaced by a prenup, which sets the stage for deceit and distrust. I hate to break it to you, the money never belonged to Shaq alone. I’m sure it was never about the money, when you a willing to give yourself to a man to put your body thru the intense torture of childbirth 4 times over. Most women manage the finances in their household with a head spinning efficiency. I do, and my husband a I have had 2 accounts combined, 1 shared checking and 1 shared savings for the past 12 yrs. If he was too busy to pay attention, then shame on him. Is it that ludicrous to believe the obvious, that some chickenhead must have gotten to his head, and now he is just simply acting with his chicken. You can’t quote Bible laws and foundations when they are relevant to your point and leave others that are not out. Shaq and Shaunie are both wrong and we know that two wrongs don’t make a right. If Shaq did cheat on Shaunie and she lay down with him afterwards, she forgave him and can’t hold that over his head any longer. Each time he did it, if she accepted him back, that slate is wiped clean. It’s still a sin in God’s eyes and he will be the judge. However, the Bible says a woman is to respect her husband and if Shaunie was hiding money that she definitely didn’t earn from her husband then she is just as guilty and doesn’t get a pass just because he cheated on her previously. Finally, the only cause for a divorce in the Bible is adultery if you can’t find it in your heart to forgive.

I`m not gonna comment on Shaq & shaunie`s divorce, cause I don`t know what took place. nobody knows what happened behind closed doors, except Shaq & Shaunie and God. people shouldn`t make statements if their not sure what really took place. I`m sure the kids will be taken good care of, we woman always seem to get left with holding the kids down, well! In Shaq & Shaunie`s case they have money so they can afford to do whatever it is that they need to do. In a poor woman`s case we have to struggle alone. we may get child support but it aint really much money to cover everything that your kid or kids need, but the spermdonor that`s what I call them thinks that us woman don`t need much money to take care of their kids. Wow, what an array of comments. Some so emotional, however, most so one sided and shallow they seem quite ridiculous. I don’t know if Shaq cheated, however as a former player I do know that the temptation and opportunity to cheat is ever present in the professional arena. As well as it is for the wives of these star players to have their cake and eat it too. I don’t know if Shaunie cheated either and neither do any of you. However lets use some common sense, they live at a level most of us only dream about and can never really understand the dynamics of the financial motives, expectations and responsibilities of those at that level. Even those of you who respond biblically can’t even agree. Many of you talk about her having 4 kids as though she was doing the man a favor. Child birth takes two, I’m sure they mutually agreed on having the children. I’m sure the life she was afforded as a result of their marriage has provided her with many benefits along with the joy of bringing 4 additional lives into this world. I hope at some point they both loved each other, but from what I’m reading, they both betrayed the fundamental foundation of not only a marriage but a true friendship as well; that is trust. I would love to hear the comments from many of the woman who are so viral towards Shaq if this had been Oprah, and Stedman had been taking money and secretly investing in ventures that were totally self serving and was never intended to build wealth for the family but for her in the event they went their separate ways. Does anyone think that when Oprah gets married, she won’t have a prenup? You should all know the number 1 & 2 reasons for divorce are money and infidelity and since both center around lying, they fall under the category of mistrust. Seems like both parties may not be trustworthy enough to provide a loving and emotionally stable home for their children while maintaining the love, joy and happiness that hopefully brought them together in the first place. I don’t think anyone should be congratulating Shaunie for her mis-deeds. And as far as the individual stating that she had an allowance and should be able to do with it as she pleases, get a grip, thats a damn budget for personal lifestyle pleasures, not to secretly try to develop a fortune for your selfish reasons. With the level of financial mistrust, and assumed infidelity, why would and how could that marriage survive. It is obvious it wasn’t rooted in faith and spiritual obedience to begin with. Now anyone who knows the court system realizes, with Shaqs profession, Shaunie would have had primary custody of the kids anyway. She would have had to be proven unfit and there is no evidence of that. By the way, if any man goes out and provides the kind of lifestyle Shaq did for Shaunie, with the maid/cleaning services she was afforded, the least she could have done was take care of the children. Now with Shaq working and traveling for 9 months out of the year, how could he be the primary or have equal custody? Do you think the child support would be any less? Look no further than some of the comments made by men & women who will profess to having love for one another to know that the civilized, respectable black family strucuture as we once knew (especially after making vows to one another…and god) is under siege….and take a guess by whom!!!

First and foremost you don’t know me and I will not use this board to go back and forth like a child and insult your womanhood like you did mine . 1st of all I was married to a professional athelete. Like so many nba wives I went into it thinking he would be faithful. I never said infedility is right. Having lived that lifestyle and witnessed the norm for many of those people it is just what the players do, and the wives except it! I understand she had his children, kept a home, and kept her body in nice shape, but that is her job. Those are the duties of a wife. The fact that she has four children by him, and Shaq himslef said they’ve aquired assets during there marriage secures her future, why steal or hide? If you wanna talk about what God has joined together again.. you can not put christian values on people who are not chrsitians. Fellas. thats why if you already have your life squared away, always, and I say always, have a prenump. If Shaq had not done that, once he found out, she had stolen half of his money, while they were married, she would have then turned around and taken the other half of it before leaving.

I took the time to read a lot of the comments because yes I am interested in what people had to say. I must admit most of them were typical - judging other peoples lives without knowing anything about them. I guess we all are guilty of that, whether we get online and write about it or not. Really people I don’t think we can judge their lives based on knowing they are getting divorced…. In the end they may not get divorced. Every human on this earth does good and bad so to point fingers is useless. We just have to be more careful when we get married because a lot of times the issues that cause you to divorce are the same issues you had before you got married. Marriage takes work that is why I hope if they really love each other and know they are meant to be they won’t let this troubling time destroy them. If any one has ever been married and truly loved each other knows that trust, honesty is very important in a relationship. without it you have nothing, your living a lie. I Think and financial transactions should be talked about and endorsed by both the husband and wife. That is regardless who’s money it is.

When incoporating from the Bible please let us be careful not to misquote. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money itself.
If Shaunie was being deceitful with funds then that is something that needs to be addressed but to me is not grounds for a divorce.
Now I do not know Shaq or Shaunie. Of course there is 6 degrees of separation and it only takes a single phone call to find out if facts are true or not but it really is none of our personal business.
Now Shaq supposedly has a girlfriend, this girlfriend is allegedly pregnant. There is a stipulation in the prenup that if Shaq was unfaithful to Shaunie in the marriage that he has to pay up and the payoff is a large sum. He conveniently, in his searching, finds out she is hiding funds from him. (BIG SURPRISE) So he tries to say she is cheating with the trainer (not proven) and misusing his money so a divorce can be granted before the new baby is born.
It takes two willing parties to become one and make a marriage work. Women have forgiven men since the stone ages for infidelity. Men have forgiven wives for using household funds for things other than what was agreed upon. If these are the only two reasons why these two are in court today you must come to the conclusion that there is another reason that the general public does not know about.

I guess we do not know the whole story which seems to always be the case. I believe when you get married you become one and that includes money. Since there are kids involved, I feel that the funds should go to the kids since they seem to be the ones that suffer during a divorce. The truth always seems to come out eventially and i feel that if she stashed the cash then is that really a concrete reason to get a divorce. It appears that greed has ruined there marriage. It always amazes me the way some (especially women) reason. Lets reharsh the facts: Shaq, a world class athlete with a ton of money marries Shaunie who had no money to talk about. She had a child prior and so did Shaq. Shaq marries her with a prenup in place and basically takes on the financial responsibility of taking care of her and her kid. She at that point knew exactly who she married - a man who would (and could/should) have other women on the side but who would take care of her. That was the deal and she certainly knew that. She pops out four kids in succession, given that she really had nothing else to do with her time - I am sure she did not have to do any work both inside and outside the home. She suddenly wakes up to the fact that Shaq might have other girls on the side and decides to get even although she knew full well she had no leverage since there was a prenup.
What does she thoughlessly do? she begins to steal money from Shaq and (maybe) sleep with some personal trainer who had nothing to offer her but dick. Shaq finds out and decides to pull his trump card which lands her in divorce court. long story short, her actions will leave her in a far worse situation post divorce than during the marriage (although it is interesting to note that she will be far better off post divorce than if she never married Shaq but married an average joe, say a personal trainer). Now emotional women who have no clue are getting bent out of shape.
MORAL OF THE STORY - ALWAYS WEIGH HOW THINGS ARE GOING TO PLAY OUT BEFORE YOU TAKE ACTIONS. Shaq is a man of means and not your regular joe. He could have girls on the side because he had the leverage. She did not. If she had any sense (or anyone to give her proper advise) she should have chilled the f**k out and enjoyed the ride before getting offended over things that she knew about all along.
And for those who are quick to quote the bible, Shaq the last time I checked, isn’t a Christian but rather a muslim…and we all know that the Quran does not limit any man of means to just one woman.

Previous to reviewing some of the comments on the O’Neal marriage, the first conclusion that I had come to, was the fact she must of hurt his heart to the core. The reason why I say this is because of the quick action that Mr. O’neal took to extinguish his marriage. I think there are few things that a women could do to create such a reaction. One is using your man’s money on another man. I don’t think her having properties/investments was an issue. The same case could be made if a woman had a separate bank account that her husband doesn’t know about. If Shaunie truly had investments in her name only, shaq knew about it, and was alright with it. You must understand, they have a complete financial and legal team on a full time basis. There is little she could do with out corresponding with this entity of Shaq’s empire. But if she was acquiring property for another man, if he wasn’t SHAQ, just Mr. Roberts down the block, someone would be catching a case .

For all you mourons who think that it was not ok for Shaunie to hide assets for herself you need to take a good look at yourself in the mirror. Ok lets say that you have a apouse, and your spouse cheats all the time and you are left at home with the kids. You have to depend on your spouse to get things done. So you are telling me that she was not suppose to do what she needed to do to make sure her children and herself was very well taken care of. Shaunie was the best thing you ever had so don’t get mad when all she wanted was to be loved and Shaq did not provide her that in anyway(besides those wonderful children) instead he was loving everyone else besides the one who loved him most. He need to grow up and start acting like a man. They always said women mature much faster than men and he is making that statement true everyday. Shaq grow up, and Shaunie take care of them kids and yourself the best way you know how, and don’t rely on no man to do that for you. Do what you do to make sure your children are safe and well taken care of. If I was in her shoes I would have done the same thing except I would have been gone a long time ago.

I believe there are a lot of people out here that are making judgements on what they don’t know but just hear from the media. I’m not making any judgments on either party but I will make a comment. In a marriage honesty is the best policy. Why hide any money if you have a good man that is providing for you and your family? It may and may not be true that he cheated on his wife and if that’s so why didn’t leave? In life we all make mistakes and it is up to the indivisual that has indured all the pain to forgive or not to forgive.

Mrs. Shaunie should of gotten a JOB. If she wanted to invest money in real estate she should of did it the right way and then she could of said she earned every penny she gets or is trying to get. How can you steal from your husband? For all of you too stupid to know, here is how money works in a marriage. Prenup or no prenup, once your name is on a joint account- you both have access to the money. That is not stealing. If she has an allowance which many wives do- that is HER money and she has a right to with it whatever she likes. It seems he doesn’t like that she has saved and invested hers- so in addition to what he will have to pay her- she will also have the money she saved or used from the joint account. Stealing is serious but unless she forged his name on checks or something- it is not stealing. Watch no one will go to jail- at the most someone might be asked to place the money back if it is still available. It is not HIS money; it is THEIR money and that is what marriage is prenup or not.

please pay no attention to my lack of punctuation and disregard for grammar, im lazy. Anyways, these comments are kind of funny, i think saw one that said why did she sign prenup papers? Because shaq is rich and not stupid, some women marry to get to the money, she gets jac nothing from him, because he has an ironclad prenup. If i was shaq id laugh in her face. As for the kids, do you really think they wont be taken care of, yes emotionally it’ll be hard with one parent, but thats more than some have. And they will always get whatever they want since daddy makes 20 mill a year.

This is exactly why a true christian man like myself is so reluctant to trust any woman. As a student in medical school, I don’t know if women want me for me or because of what I’m going to be. If I do get married I will have a prenup, and I know this seems wrong but It is the only way I can protect myself. Because I have first been faithful to Christ; I know I will be faithful to my wife. The prenup would be just in case I somehow end up marrying a half-stepping christian. If I (which I wouldn’t) leave her or cheat on her than I would have no problem giving her half of everything and I will surely state that in the prenup, but if she cheats are wants a divorce then I’m not giving her anything. Marriage is sacred and ordained by God. It’s forever and thru thick and thin. We may be married Monday and she may become paralyzed come Friday, and If so I would gladly be pushing her down the yellow brick road all the days of our lives. Why, because this is the woman that God purposely placed on this earth for me, and I love her, and come hell and high waters theres no way I want live without her.

Shaq began to see her for what she was… Now, please understand that the kids are here b/c of God’s grace..but like us women we know our mate AND when the mate is cheating.. signs go off!!!
Both of them may have some inconsistances in this marriage and it could possibly all work out in the end, who knows.. I DO!!! Shaq knows Shaunie and what she is capable of.. He is trying to maintain his dignity thru all this BUT once a guy loses trust in a woman.. that marks the end.
As a lady (and the next Mrs. Shaquelle ONeal).. I will work with him on all matters. I know who the star is in our relationship and my job will be easy..to be his help mate.
Shaq feel out of love with Shaunie months before this all became public and she did not know how to handle her plots and money staches.. She knoew long ago that her marriage to Shaq was timed… She timed it herself? But Shaq woke up and by the time his alarm went off… she was still asleep.
Shaq, though big, is a real smart business man AND he know his money… His parents, coaches and colleagues have trained him well.. So, not much gets by him.. Money makes you more keen… in a sense.. Trust me I know.
So, again,, Shaq and I will be married in November, 2010.. Yeah a few more years… Just enough time for him to be over Shaunie..
Oh and as for the kids they will be fine too by then and he is a great father, by the way.

Shaq earned the money its his. End of story. She will get child support and money. Did she have to steal? No, she was getting as much money as she could ever want. But she got a little to greedy. If its true that shaq cheated, SO WHAT? Does that give her the right to secretly steal money? And what can she be complaining about? Having to produce shaq sized babies. Get over it. Basically Shaq understands why this all happened.. Even his Mom said that Shaunie seemed to have been the one for him back in 2001.. Was she wrong, not really.. Shaunie had them all blinded… She realized long ago that this was a MONEY THING.. and she would do whatever to see her plan work. BUT as God would have it, it backfired!! Does she deserve money, yes.. $1 million per child IF she get sole custody… IF NOT the $500,000 per child.. NO alimony… will be paid.. NONE
Well, like I said it previous email above, Shaq and I will be married in 2010. Shaq is a man who loves life and now that I am in his life… he is a much better man. Did Shaunie only want his money??? Marriage is honorable! Correction will come and people will learn the true value, purpose and respect of marriage. Marriage is beautiful when the husband and wife have clean hands and pure hearts which equals true love.

I don’t care about his money, status, pass, troubles, blessings or other because I know God has first joined us in the spirit and I love him already. I know how to wait upon the LORD. I desire a very simple wedding on the beach. I desire to love him forever and ever. I will submit to him, and treat him as king. I will respect him, adore him, and desire only him. I’m into his spirit, his love for God, and I will always keep him lifted up in prayer before God.
I will not release any gossip or ill concerns to him, but the words from my mouth will encourage, motivate and elevate him. When he come home each day, he will love coming home. When he needs his private time, I will go and write, shopping, take a Senior Citizen out to dinner. Take young girls to the museum or out to enjoy a theatrical performance.

I am not saying that either party is right but I know for a fact that it is possible that Shaunie is also to blame. Not only was she married when she met Shaq but she cheated on her first husband with Shaq which is why he divorced her, she then ran into Shaq’s arms like she planned. So if Shaq did cheat on her then what goes around comes around she did it to her first hubbie. So Shaunie always has been a shady ass gold digger and always will be.
