Crownguard.com is yet another site spamming MySpace with fake bulletins. These pathetic crownguard morons are so stupid they can’t even configure their server correctly!

However, at some point crownguard.com will become functional again, so this is a warning not to login at the site. As you can see in this screenshot, the site first asks you to enter a “captcha” code as step one.

It seems harmless, but it’s purpose is to lull your suspicions and make you more likely to enter your real email address and password in the next step. Once you do that, an automated script will take your email and password info and login at MySpace to send more spam bulletins to your friends.

It’s a viral spamming technique that MySpace has been plagued with and it’s been getting worse as moreĀ  of these sites pop up all over the Net. Of course, these guys seem particularly inept, since their site quickly defaults to a server error.
