Talking iPod Shuffle – Apple has unveiled a new talking iPod Shuffle that weighs less than 11 grams, is smaller than your thumb, and costs just $79.

The new talking iPod Shuffle has no display screen, so it includes a new voice feature that tells listeners the artist name and title of the song playing.

The iPod controls are mounted on the headphone lead, rather than on the body of the player.
The new talking iPod without a video screen comes in silver or black and has a 4GB capacity or roughly 1,000 songs.
The new VoiceOver feature announces songs and playlists to users in 14 different languages. The VoiceOver feature works by synchronizing with iTunes software, which installs a voice kit on the user’s computer. VoiceOver can also tell a user how much battery life remains.
“You previously couldn’t have multiple playlists on the iPod Shuffle because you couldn’t really switch between them as there was no way to know how you would switch,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple vice president of iPod marketing, told Reuters. “So now instead of seeing, you get to hear.”
And that’s the latest news on the new talking iPod Shuffle.
