CoolIndividuals.com is a ringtones scam just like it’s sister site, CoolIndividual.com. CoolIndividuals and dozens of other sites are just the latest examples of ringtones scams perpetuated by fake MySpace Bulletins.

CoolIndividuals and the other sites are always brand new domain names with no history in the search engines. Suddenly, hundreds of people are getting MySpace bulletins saying “Is this u on CoolIndividuals.com?” or “u should see your video on CoolIndividual.com” or “who posted ur video on RevengeOnCam.com?” and so on…

All they are trying to do is trick you into thinking a friend “hooked you up” with a free rington offer. If you enter your cellphone number to get a free ringtone, you’re actually signing up to be billed $19.99 a month for 10 ringtone downloads.

Even if you bypass the warning, people fall for entering their email and password to see the supposed content inside. There isn’t anything there, period.

The second you enter your email and password, the site runs a batch file to login to MySpace with your email address and password . The bot then sends another round of fake bulletins to all your MySpace friends and the cycle continues…

Tens of thousands of people fall for this scam every day! If you’ve entered your email and password at one of these sites, change it ASAP or they’ll keep spamming all your friends with new sites and more messages like “is this u on skankyhos.com?”

These master sites hide behind the phony sites hosted by the ringtones scammers through an iframe window. So, CoolIndividuals.com and CoolIndividual.com are only the latest versions of the plague of fake MySpace bulletins.
